<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathroom vanity facilitating a shampoo and laundry without sacrificing the usability as a regular washbowl. <P>SOLUTION: This bathroom vanity is so formed that the base end of a spout 6 comprising a faucet fixture is turnably supported on the lower surface 5 where the inner side of a rack part 4 is recessed. 【従来の技術】
一般的な洗面化粧台は、ベース台などの上に洗面器を設け、更に洗面器の奥側となる位置にミラーを取り付けるとともに、洗面器に向けて吐水する水栓金具を備えた構成となっている。

また、最近の洗面化粧台には、特許文献１〜３に開示されるように洗髪や簡単な洗濯も行えるようにしたものが流行っている。
特許文献１には、ベース台の奥側に水栓金具取付台を立設し、この水栓金具取付台の異なる２箇所にシャワーヘッド保持部を設け、これら２箇所のシャワーヘッド保持部を使用目的に合わせて選択的に使用する内容が開示されている。
特許文献２には、ベース台上面のカウンターの奥側にバックガードを立設し、このバックガードの上に水栓を備えたケースを設け、このケースの裏側に給水管を接続する構成が開示されている。
特許文献３には、洗面器の上方に張り出したミラーキャビネットの下面に、スパウト（水平管）を垂直軸を中心として回動自在に取り付け、手前側に回動せしめることで吐出口を使用者に近づける構成が開示されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
特許文献１、２にあっては洗髪できることを主眼とした洗面化粧台であるので、水栓金具としてシャワーノズルを用いている。このため、歯磨きや洗顔といった洗面器本来の用途には使用しづらいという問題がある。特に、特許文献２にあってはシャワーノズルの位置を変更できないため、洗髪用としても使用勝手が悪い。

また、特許文献３にあっては水栓金具としてスパウトを用いており、スパウトを手前側に回動せしめることで吐水口が使用者に近づくのであるが、水平面内での回動であるため、吐水口の高さは変化しない。このため吐水口の下に頭を入れることが難しく洗髪しにくいという問題がある。尚、洗髪しやすくするには、はじめからスパウトの位置を高くしておけばよいが、この場合には通常の洗顔や手を洗うときに吐水口が高くなり過ぎ、水撥ねが生じやすい。

また、特許文献３に示されるようなアングル状のスパウトを水平面内ではなく垂直面内で回動させる構成も考えられる。しかしながらこの場合には吐水口の『位置は上下するが、前後方向の位置は変らないので、却って使用しづらい。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するため、本発明に係る洗面化粧台は、洗面器と化粧鏡と前記洗面器に向けて吐水を行うスパウトを備え、前記スパウトはその基端部が垂直線を奥側に傾斜せしめた軸線を中心として回動可能に支持され、前記スパウトを基端部を中心に手前側に回動せしめることで、スパウト先端の吐水部の位置が高くなり、前記スパウトを基端部を中心に奥側に回動せしめることで、スパウト先端の吐水部の位置が低くなるようにした。
上記構成とすることで、スパウトを回動させるという簡単な操作で、洗髪に適した高さと突出位置、及び洗顔、手洗い或いは歯磨きに適した高さを選択することができる。

前記スパウト先端の吐水部をスパウトの長さ方向の軸線を中心として回動可能とすることができる。この構成によって、吐水方向を任意の角度に調整することができる。

また、前記スパウトの回動中心となる軸線とスパウトの長さ方向の軸線とを直交せしめ、更に前記スパウトの回動中心となる軸線とスパウト先端の吐水部の吐水方向軸線とを平行にすることも可能である。この構成によって、スパウトを回動させて吐水位置を変えても吐水角度を一定に保つことができ、予期しない方向に吐水することによって、衣服を濡らしたりすることを防ぐことができる。

例えば洗髪の際には頭を下げるので吐水位置が洗面器の中心から外れている方が楽であり、一方、手を洗う際には吐水位置が洗面器の中心にある方が洗面器の外への水撥ねが少なくなるので好ましい。上記の構成とすることでこれを達成できる。

また、前方に向かって突出する棚部を設け、この棚部の下面に前記スパウトを回動自在に支持し、収納位置でスパウトを棚部の下方に隠す構成とすることで、見栄えがよくなり且つ収納時の洗面器上方空間が広くなり、万一化粧鏡から物を落とした際にも、水栓を破損することがなく、顔を洗うために吐水口に顔を近づけても水栓先端部の出っ張りが目に入ることがないので圧迫感を感じたり誤って頭をぶつけることがない。

更に、吐水口が手前に回転する構成を追加すると水栓を手前に回さなくても手前に吐水することができ、スパウトが邪魔にならないので洗濯時の使い勝手が向上する。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に本発明の実施の形態を添付図面に基づいて説明する。図１は本発明に係る洗面化粧台のスパウトを手前側に回動させた状態の正面図、図２は図１のＡ−Ａ方向矢視断面図、図３は図２の要部拡大図である。

洗面化粧台はベース台（ベースキャビネット）１の上に洗面器２を載置し、この洗面器２の奥側のベース台１を上方に延びる支持部３としている。支持部３は内部を中空とするとともに上部に棚部４が形成され、この棚部４の奥側が下がった下面５に水栓金具を構成するスパウト６の基端部がパッキン７を介して回動可能に支持されている。

このように底面２ａを奥に向って傾斜せしめるとともに吐水範囲を底面２ａの範囲に略一致せしめることで、小物を洗濯する場合に力を入れやすい姿勢で洗濯することができ、フラット面の手前の方で小物洗い等をする時に吐水口の角度を調整して吐水位置を奥側にもっていくと、手や洗い物に水があたって撥ねることがなくなり、周りに水を撥ねさせずに小物洗いや洗濯ができる。
