【The invention's effect】
The present invention is configured as described above, and has the following effects.
[0123]
That is, as set forth in
The pocket portion of the fabric, which has been difficult to position only by setting the fabric on the first platen, can be directly positioned by the second platen, thereby preventing the printing position from being shifted to the pocket portion.
[0124]
As described in
A normal printing mode without using the second platen is also possible, and an apparatus that can be used for a wide range of applications can be provided.
[0125]
As described in
In both the usage mode in which the cloth is set on the first platen and the usage mode in which the pocket portion is set on the second platen, an appropriate gap between the inkjet head and the recording surface can be ensured.
[0126]
As described in
Positioning of the pocket portion is facilitated.
[0127]
As described in
The work of aligning and mounting the second platen on the first platen can be performed accurately and easily. Therefore, when the pocket portion is set on the second platen and printing is performed, a shift in the printing position is reliably avoided.
[0128]
As described in
By exchanging the second platen according to the shape (including the size) of the pocket portion, it is possible to appropriately position and print pocket portions having various sizes, large and small. In addition, since the type of the second platen can be automatically determined, for example, the image data is enlarged / reduced according to the size of the pocket portion, or printed at the center of the pocket portion regardless of the size of the pocket portion. Such automatic control is also possible.
[0129]
As described in
Even when various types of second platens are used, the reference position does not change, so that coordinate conversion processing inside the apparatus is not required. Therefore, the load on the arithmetic unit during automatic control can be reduced.
[0130]
As described in
When the pocket portion is not set on the second platen, control can be performed so that printing is not performed. Therefore, it is possible to prevent a situation in which ink is erroneously ejected and the second platen is soiled when the pocket portion is not set.
[0131]
As described in
Since a pocket portion is attached to each second platen and printing can be performed on a plurality of pocket portions at once, the efficiency is excellent.
[0132]
According to a tenth aspect of the present invention, image data to be printed in a pocket portion is received by one unit from a host device, the image data is copied to the position of each of the pocket portions, and the copied image data is printed. So
Since the amount of received data can be reduced to one pocket portion by the copying process, the amount of communication data with the host device can be reduced. Therefore, even when printing is performed on many pockets at once, communication time with the host device can be saved.
[0133]
As described in
Even when a pocket portion is set on a certain second platen and printing is performed without setting the pocket portion on another second platen, printing can be appropriately performed only on the set pocket portion.
[0134]
The second platen may be attached to the first platen in a direction in which the first platen moves or in a direction in which the inkjet head moves, and the second platen may be attached to the first platen. Since the platen has a slit through which the cloth with the pocket portion attached to the second platen is formed,
Since a plurality of second platens can be mounted side by side in the direction of movement of the first platen, the number of second platens that can be mounted on the first platen can be increased, and printing can be performed on more pockets at once. In addition, since the excess portion of the cloth with the pocket portion attached to the second platen is not positioned on the first platen by passing through the slit, it does not hinder the printing of the pocket portion.
[0135]
An ink jet head that ejects ink to a surface of a cloth, and a platen that can set the cloth, wherein the ink jet head and the platen are relatively maintained while maintaining a predetermined distance. In the ink jet type fabric printing apparatus which prints a desired image on the surface of the fabric set on the platen by moving to the platen, the platen has (1) a first working surface capable of setting a fabric. And (2) a second attachment having a second work surface on which a pocket formed in the cloth can be set, and at least two attachments can be exchanged and attached.
With the first attachment, the printing of the fabric is possible, and the pocket portion of the fabric, which was difficult to position, can be directly positioned with the second attachment to perform printing without displacement. Further, since both attachments can be exchanged, it is possible to provide a device that can be used for a wide range of applications.
[0136]
As described in claim 14, the second attachment is provided with a sensor for determining whether or not the pocket portion is set in the second attachment.
Since it is possible to control so that printing is not performed when the pocket portion is not set, it is possible to prevent a situation in which the second attachment is soiled by erroneously ejecting ink when the pocket portion is not set.
[0137]
As shown in
Since a pocket portion is attached to each second work surface and printing can be performed on a plurality of pocket portions at once, the efficiency is excellent.
[0138]
According to another aspect of the present invention, image data to be printed in a pocket portion is received from a higher-level device for one copy, the image data is copied to the position of each of the pocket portions, and the copied image data is printed. So
Since the amount of received data can be reduced to one pocket portion by the copying process, the amount of communication data with the host device can be reduced. Therefore, even when printing is performed on many pockets at once, communication time with the host device can be saved.
[0139]
As set forth in claim 17, the second attachment is provided with a sensor for determining whether or not the pocket portion is set on each of the second work surfaces, and receives a signal from the higher-level device. The copied image data is copied only at the position determined by the sensor when the pocket portion is set, and the copied image data is printed.
Even when a pocket portion is set on a certain second work surface and printing is performed without setting the pocket portion on another second work surface, printing can be appropriately performed only on the set pocket portion.
[0140]
As shown in claim 18, since the pocket portion is a pocket attached to a part of clothes,
A pocket located in a part of clothes can be easily positioned and printed.
[0141]
As shown in claim 19, the clothes are set on the second work surface in a state of being folded along the mouth line of the pocket mouth of the pocket,
By folding back the portion other than the pocket portion of the clothes, displacement of the pocket portion is less likely to occur when the pocket portion is set on the second work surface. Therefore, it is possible to avoid a printing position shift.
[0142]
As shown in claim 20, the direction of the clothes when setting the pocket portion of the clothes on the second work surface and the direction of the clothes when setting the clothes on the first work surface are: Because they are opposite to each other,
The work of attaching the pocket can be facilitated.
[0143]
As shown in
Socks and gloves can be properly positioned and printed, and the use of the device can be expanded.
