TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a bracket for mounting an engine mount, which is interposed between an engine of a vehicle and a vehicle body and elastically supports the engine with vibration isolation, and more particularly, a rigid bracket for mounting and fixing the engine mount to the engine. About.
[0002]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in a vehicle, an engine mount including a rubber elastic body as a main element is interposed between an engine serving as a vibration source and a vehicle body to elastically support the engine in vibration isolation.
Usually, this engine mount is mounted and fixed to the engine side and the vehicle body side by rigid engine side brackets and vehicle body side brackets, respectively, such that a rubber elastic body is interposed between the engine and the vehicle body.
[0003]
By the way, if the engine in the engine room jumps into the rear cabin when a vehicle crashes, the safety of the driver in the cabin or the passengers in the passenger seat may be threatened. It has been considered to prevent the engine from dropping downward by the large impact load.
[0004]
Conventionally, various means have been proposed as means for dropping an engine downward at the time of a vehicle collision.
For example, Patent Literature 1 below discloses that a notch portion serving as a starting point for causing plastic deformation when a large load is applied is provided at a predetermined circumferential position of a cylindrical portion of a bracket for mounting and fixing an engine mount on an engine side. ing.
Further, Patent Document 2 below discloses that when a large impact is applied, the stopper and the bolt are sheared to break the engine mount, thereby dropping the engine.
[0005]
The present invention focuses on a rigid bracket for mounting and fixing an engine mount on the engine side in order to provide a new means for dropping the engine downward due to a large impact load during a vehicle collision.
Specifically, in order to break the bracket due to a large impact load at the time of a vehicle collision, it was considered to prepare beforehand a portion to be broken by a large impact load on the bracket.

[Means for Solving the Problems]
The engine mount bracket of the present invention has been devised to solve such a problem.
According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a rigid bracket for mounting and fixing an engine mount, which is interposed between an engine of a vehicle and a vehicle body and elastically supports the engine with vibration isolation, to the engine side, An engine-side fixing portion fixed to the engine side, and a mount-side fixing portion fixed to the engine mount, and the engine-side fixing portion and the mount-side fixing portion are provided at two or more places. And each of the plurality of connecting portions is determined to have a strength such that each connecting portion breaks in a stepwise manner when a large impact load is applied during a vehicle collision. Features.
[0014]
According to a second aspect, in the first aspect, the plurality of connecting portions are arranged in a vehicle front-rear direction.
[0015]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in any one of the first and second aspects, a vertically extending through-hole is formed in a portion between the engine-side fixing portion and the mount-side fixing portion, which is long in the vehicle front-rear direction. The portion before and after the through hole is configured as the connecting portion.
[0016]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in any one of the first to third aspects, the rear connecting portion in the vehicle front-rear direction has a lower breaking strength than the front connecting portion.
[0017]
A fifth aspect of the present invention is characterized in that, in the fourth aspect, the cross-sectional shape of the rear connecting portion in the cross-section in the vehicle front-rear direction is smaller than that of the front connecting portion.
[0018]
7. A rigid bracket for mounting and fixing an engine mount, which is interposed between an engine of a vehicle and a vehicle body and elastically supports the engine in an anti-vibration manner, to the engine side, wherein the bracket is provided on the engine side. An engine-side fixing portion fixed to the engine mount, and a mount-side fixing portion fixed to the engine mount, and the engine-side fixing portion has a cylindrical bolt fastening tube through which a fastening bolt is inserted. A notch is provided at a root portion on the outer peripheral surface side of the bolt fastening tube for breaking and separating the bolt fastening tube by the action of a large impact load at the time of a vehicle collision.
[0019]
[Action and effect of the invention]
As described above, according to the first aspect, the engine-side fixing portion and the mount-side fixing portion are connected to each other by the plurality of connecting portions provided at two or more places, and each of the plurality of connecting portions is connected to the vehicle. When a large impact load at the time of a collision is applied, each connecting portion is determined to have such strength that it is sequentially broken in a stepwise manner. According to the present invention, a large impact load at the time of a vehicle collision is provided at a plurality of locations. While the connecting portion is sequentially broken with a time lag, the engine-side fixing portion and the mount-side fixing portion of the bracket can be broken and separated, but when supporting the engine load in normal times, the plurality of connecting portions should be separated. The combined overall strength can support the engine load.
[0020]
According to the present invention, when the engine load is normally supported, the force acts evenly on each connecting portion, while when a large impact load is applied during a vehicle collision, the stress concentration and the accompanying breakage occur. This is based on the fact that the points are not equal depending on the position of each connecting portion.
[0021]
Here, it is desirable that the plurality of connecting portions be arranged in the vehicle front-rear direction (claim 2).
In this way, when the engine is pushed backward during a vehicle collision, the plurality of connecting portions can be satisfactorily and sequentially broken.
[0022]
In the present invention, it is also possible to form a long through-hole in the vehicle front-rear direction at a portion between the engine-side fixing portion and the mount-side fixing portion, and configure the portion before and after the through-hole as the connection portion. (Claim 3).
[0023]
In the present invention, it is desirable that the rear connecting portion in the vehicle front-rear direction has a lower breaking strength than the front connecting portion (claim 4).
In the event of a vehicle collision, the mounting-side fixed part hits the stopper part as the engine is pushed backward, and an impact load acts from the rear to the front, causing a large stress concentration on the connecting part, especially in the rear part. by.
In this case, the cross-sectional shape of the rearmost connecting portion in the vehicle front-rear direction can be smaller than that of the front connecting portion (claim 5).
[0024]
A sixth aspect of the present invention provides a cylindrical bolt fastening tube for inserting a fastening bolt for fixing into an engine side fixing portion of a bracket, and a large impact load is applied to a root portion on an outer peripheral surface side of the bolt fastening tube. In this case, a notch for breaking and separating the bolted cylinder is provided, and even in such a case, the engine-side fixed portion and the mount-side fixed portion of the bracket are separated by the action of a large impact load at the time of a vehicle collision. It can be broken and separated.
