Abstract
Description
【0001】

【0072】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a branch control device for a so-called automatic guided vehicle (hereinafter referred to as AGV) that unmannedly conveys luggage and the like to a destination designated in advance along a taxiway provided in a factory, a warehouse, or the like. In particular, the present invention belongs to a technical field related to a branch control device that provides an appropriate direction guidance at a branch point in order to guide an AGV along each guide path in a case where a plurality of guide paths are provided to cross each other.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as an example of the AGV, as shown in FIG. 8, a drive steering wheel which can be driven and steered by a

[0011]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above-described conventional branch control device, since the control device of the automatic guided vehicle has previously stored which direction in the left-right direction at the branch point, the automatic guided vehicle is changed to one that passes through another guideway. In doing so, it is necessary to change the circuit of the control device.
[0012]
In addition, if a new passageway is formed and the number of branch points is increased, or if another new route is formed and the number of branch points is increased, the circuit of the control device is changed for each of the automatic guided vehicles. There is a need.
[0013]
Therefore, it is necessary to change the control circuit of the automatic guided vehicle according to the installation and change of the guideway, the change of the traveling route of the automatic guided vehicle, and the like, so that the cost is increased. Also, especially when many unmanned guided vehicles are traveling or when the taxiways intersect in a complicated manner, the operation of changing the control circuit of the unmanned guided vehicle becomes complicated, and the change work requires a large number of man-hours. And there is a problem that mistakes in the change work are likely to occur.
[0014]
In the present invention, an object of the present invention is to solve the above-described problems of the related art, and by changing the guidance direction of the automatic guided vehicle at a branch point without changing the control circuit of the automatic guided vehicle, An object of the present invention is to make it possible to reliably and easily guide the automatic guided vehicle in a straight line and in the left-right direction, and to reliably and easily perform new installation and change of a guideway.
[0015]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, according to the first aspect of the present invention, a plurality of magnetic guideways having a branch point disposed on the floor so as to move around a predetermined place are provided for each of the guideways, In a branching control device for an automatic guided vehicle that includes a steerable automatic guided vehicle that travels along each taxiway, each of the automatic guided vehicles detects a predetermined branch point, and a detection signal of the detection unit. And a control unit that guides the automatic guided vehicle in a predetermined direction, wherein the detecting means of each of the automatic guided vehicles includes a plurality of first detecting units provided in a vehicle body left-right direction at a front part of the automatic guided vehicle; A second detection unit provided at a predetermined position in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body on a side portion of the automatic guided vehicle according to the taxiway, and at a position just before a branch point of the taxiway, The first signal section is located at a position corresponding to the first detection section, and the first signal section is located at a position corresponding to the second detection section. Two signal units are provided, respectively, and the control unit controls the detection signals of the first detection unit and the second detection unit that have detected the signals from the first signal unit and the second signal unit before the first branch point. In accordance with the combination, whether to branch or go straight is selected and directed and steered.
[0016]
According to the above configuration, by changing the position of the second detection unit of the automatic guided vehicle, it is possible to change the guide path on which the automatic guided vehicle travels.
[0017]
That is, when it is desired to change the automatic guided vehicle traveling on one taxiway to an automatic guided vehicle traveling on another taxiway, the position of the second detection unit of the automatic guided vehicle is changed, and With respect to the signals of the two guideways laid in the signal section, the signal is moved from a position where a signal of one guideway is detected to another position where a signal of another guideway is detected. Then, the unmanned guided vehicle performs the same branch control as another unmanned guided vehicle traveling on another guideway based on a combination of the signal of the second detection unit and the signal of the first detection unit moved to another position. Therefore, the vehicle can travel as another automatic guided vehicle.
[0018]
Therefore, by changing the position of the second detection unit in accordance with the guideway, the guideway on which the automatic guided vehicle travels can be changed. Therefore, the automatic guided vehicle can be easily changed without changing the control circuit of the automatic guided vehicle. It can be changed from traveling on one taxiway to traveling on another taxiway.
[0019]
Further, when a new branch point is newly established by adding a new passage for one taxiway, a first signal unit corresponding to the first detection unit is laid at this branch point, and the second detection unit is connected to the first signal unit. By laying the corresponding second signal section, branch control can be performed on the automatic guided vehicle passing through this branch point.
[0020]
Therefore, it is not necessary to change the detection unit and the control unit for the automatic guided vehicle at all, so that the installation and change of the guideway (that is, the installation and change of the branch point) can be performed very easily.
[0021]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, when each of the automatic guided vehicles simultaneously detects the detection signal of the first detection unit and the detection signal of the second detection unit at the branch point, the automatic guided vehicle recognizes the direction of the next guideway. To do.
[0022]
According to the above configuration, whether or not to branch is set based on the detection signals from the two detection units, so that malfunction due to erroneous detection can be reduced as much as possible.
[0023]
According to the third aspect of the invention, the first detection unit includes a right detection unit, a left detection unit, and a center detection unit provided between these detection units. It is assumed that a control signal common to the automatic guided vehicle is formed.
[0024]
According to the above configuration, since the first detection unit is used not only for control such as left turn or right turn at a branch point, but also for various common controls, the detection unit can be used effectively. Further, since the signal at the time of branching such as right turn or left turn is operated by the signal of the first detection unit and the signal of the second detection unit, the signal of right turn or left turn and the common control signal are not confused. In addition, the automatic guided vehicle can be reliably controlled.
[0025]
According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, the second signal unit is provided at a different position with respect to the traveling direction of the automatic guided vehicle for each guide path, and is required to branch to the left or right at a junction. On the other hand, a signal is transmitted to the second detection unit, but no signal is transmitted to the second detection unit for an unmanned guided vehicle traveling straight.
[0026]
According to the above configuration, since the automatic guided vehicle traveling straight does not receive a signal indicating whether or not to branch at the branch point, it can pass through the branch point without deceleration or stagnation. Therefore, the flow of the automatic guided vehicle can be made smooth.
[0027]
According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, an obstacle detection unit that detects an obliquely forward obstacle is provided at the front right end of the automatic guided vehicle. According to this configuration, a collision with another automatic guided vehicle at the junction can be avoided with a simple configuration.
[0028]
