Description

【0001】
【0017】

Figure 2004183839
【0018】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a raceway of a large-diameter and thin-walled rolling bearing used for a rotation support portion such as a CT scan, and a rolling bearing provided with the raceway.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The bearing ring of a rolling bearing is formed from a round bar of a material through a forging process and a turning process, or after a ring member is formed only by a turning process, the ring member is hardened by a heat treatment process, and then a predetermined process is performed by a polishing process. It is manufactured after finishing to dimensions and roughness (see the column of the conventional example in Table 1).
[0003]
A large-diameter and thin bearing ring used for a rotary support portion such as a CT scan is manufactured through the same process as described above. However, because of the large diameter, rolling forging is performed in the forging process.
In the rolling forging, as shown in FIG. 6A, the mandrel 2 and the roll 3 are placed on the material ring 1 while the mandrel 2 is disposed on the inner diameter surface and the roll 3 is disposed on the outer diameter surface of the hot material ring 1. By rotating the material ring 1 to a predetermined size by rotating while pressing against the inner and outer diameter surfaces of the forging ring 4 (see FIG. 6B), the forging ring 4 can be processed by annealing. Then, the forged ring 4 is turned to complete the ring member 5 before the heat treatment.
In this example, a case where two ring members 5 are obtained with one forged ring 4 is shown.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, rolling forging is difficult to maintain high-precision dimensions by hot forging, so the material yield is low, and it requires very large-scale special equipment, and it is a very labor-intensive operation. Since it takes time from turning on the supply of the material of the ring 1 to turning the forged ring 4 to obtain the ring member 5, it is necessary to make and store the forged ring 4 in the turning stage, and there is a large stock of material in the turning stage. There is a problem.
[0005]
As described above, when manufacturing the bearing ring, it takes time from the supply of the material ring 1 to the turning of the forged ring 4 to obtain the ring member 5, and the stock of the material (forged ring 4) in the turning stage is large. This is disadvantageous in that the delivery date cannot be responded to a sudden change in the design of the rolling bearing and that the material stocks are kept.
[0006]
Also, in response to a sudden request for a trial production of a rolling bearing, a normal small-diameter rolling bearing can manufacture a raceway ring by obtaining the ring member 5 only by turning and omitting forging without worrying about the material yield. However, rolling forging is always required when manufacturing a raceway with a large diameter, which is difficult to cope with.
[0007]
The present invention has been made in order to solve such a problem, and it is possible to improve the material yield and to reduce the material inventory, thereby improving the production efficiency of the bearing ring. To provide a method of manufacturing a bearing ring capable of promptly responding to a sudden design change or a prototype request of a rolling bearing having a large-diameter and thin-walled bearing ring, and a rolling bearing including the bearing ring. With the goal.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the invention according to claim 1 is a method of manufacturing a race of a rolling bearing, wherein the raceway is formed by bending a rod into a ring shape and using a ring member welded at both ends in a circumferential direction. It is characterized by manufacturing wheels.
[0009]
The invention according to claim 2 is a rolling bearing in which a plurality of rolling elements are arranged between a pair of races so as to be able to roll in a circumferential direction, wherein at least one of the pair of races is a rod. The material is formed by using a ring member obtained by bending a material into a ring shape and welding both ends in a circumferential direction.
[0010]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the second aspect, the invention is used for a rotation support section of a CT scan.
According to each of the above-described configurations, since a bar member as a material is bent into a ring shape and a ring member welded at both ends in the circumferential direction is used, a conventional ring member obtained by rolling forging a material ring is used. Compared with this, the wall thickness accuracy is higher, the material yield can be improved, and the ring member can be obtained in a short time with simple equipment such as a roll forming machine. Can be.
As a result, it is possible to improve the production efficiency of the bearing ring, and it is possible to quickly respond to a sudden design change or a trial production request of a rolling bearing having a large-diameter, thin-walled bearing ring.
[0011]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. 1 is an explanatory view for explaining a method of manufacturing a bearing ring according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a view showing a ring member, and FIG. 3 is an explanatory view of butt resistance welding as an example of fusion welding. 4 is a photograph showing a cross section of the welded portion.
[0012]
As shown in FIG. 1, in the method for manufacturing a bearing ring according to one embodiment of the present invention, a bar 20 previously cut to a predetermined length is put between rolls 10a and 10b of a roll forming machine having different diameters. The rod member 20 is formed into a ring shape having a predetermined R dimension by performing a bending process, and then, as shown in FIG. Get.
[0013]
There are two types of welding: build-up welding using a welding material such as a welding rod and fusion welding without using a welding material (hereinafter referred to as fusion welding). In this embodiment, fusion welding is employed because there is a possibility of causing a decrease.
As an example of the fusion welding, FIG. 3 is an explanatory diagram of butt resistance welding that can be welded relatively inexpensively.
[0014]
In the butt resistance welding, electrodes 60 and 61 are attached to both ends in the circumferential direction of a ring-shaped formed body 30 formed by the roll forming machine shown in FIG. Is a method in which the ends are heated by Joule heat generated by arc discharge to perform fusion bonding, and welding with relatively little heat effect can be performed.
In FIG. 3, reference numeral 62 denotes an alternating current, 63 denotes a transformer, and the electrode 61 side is mounted so as to be movable in the axial direction.
[0015]
FIG. 4 shows a cross section of the welded portion 50.
Here, the base material (the ring-shaped formed body 30) after welding needs to be sufficiently annealed. If it is an unannealed material, there is a possibility that welding cracks may occur. Further, in resistance welding, burrs appear as shown in FIG. 4, so it is necessary to remove the burrs with a grinder or the like.
Further, in order to make the quality of the welded portion 50 equal to the quality of the non-welded portion, it is necessary to perform annealing as necessary. Since all the carbides are dissolved in the welded portion 50, for example, in the case of a high-carbon bearing steel (SUJ2, SUJ3, etc.), the amount of retained austenite is high, and the hardness after quenching is higher than that of the non-welded portion. It is because it becomes low. In this case, spheroidizing annealing is ideal, but softening annealing may be used. Although the above-mentioned bearing steel may be used as the rod 10, it is preferable to select a material containing 0.45 to 0.75% by weight of carbon. The reason why the lower limit of the carbon content is set to 0.45% by weight is to obtain hardness HRC58 required for the bearing, and the upper limit is set to 0.75% by weight. This is because the hardness decreases.
[0016]
Then, with respect to the ring member 40 obtained as described above, a turning allowance is set according to the process capability of deformation correction quenching of heat treatment and heat treatment and polishing are performed, or heat treatment is performed as it is, and then turning and polishing are performed. By doing so, the race of the rolling bearing is manufactured.
Table 1 shows an outline of the steps of the conventional example and the embodiment.
[0017]
[Table 1]
Figure 2004183839
[0018]
As described above, in this embodiment, since the rod member 20 as a material is bent into a ring shape and the ring member 40 in which both ends in the circumferential direction are welded is used, the conventional material obtained by rolling forging the material ring is used. As compared with the ring member, the wall thickness accuracy is improved, the material yield can be improved, and the ring member 40 can be obtained in a short time with simple equipment such as a roll forming machine. Material stock can be reduced.
As a result, it is possible to improve the production efficiency of the bearing ring, and it is possible to quickly respond to a sudden design change or a trial production request of a rolling bearing provided with a large-diameter and thin-walled bearing ring.
[0019]
Note that the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and can be appropriately changed without departing from the gist of the present invention.
For example, in the above-described embodiment, the case where the both ends in the circumferential direction of the ring-shaped molded body 30 are joined by butt resistance welding is taken as an example. However, instead of this, electron beam welding, laser welding, TIG shown in FIG. It is possible to use welding without welding rod. Rather, electron beam welding and laser welding are very effective methods because they have little thermal effect and hardly generate burrs.
[0020]
【The invention's effect】
As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, the material yield can be improved, and the material inventory can be reduced. It is possible to respond promptly to sudden design changes and trial requests for rolling bearings with wheels.
