Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a low-noise, high-efficiency magnetic fan clutch device that mainly controls the rotation of a cooling fan applied to an internal combustion engine for a vehicle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a fan clutch for controlling the rotation of a cooling fan applied to an internal combustion engine for a vehicle, there is a magnetic fan clutch device in which a magnetic coupling and an electromagnetic clutch are integrated (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2002-195303). This type of magnetic fan clutch device has a combination of a magnetic coupling and an electromagnetic clutch and a fan mounted on the magnet coupling side. Specifically, for example, an excitation supported on a drive shaft or a fixed shaft is provided. A rotatable electromagnetic clutch comprising a coil rotor with a built-in coil, an armature, a permanent magnet rotating body having a fan mounted on its outer periphery, and a hysteresis material or conductor arranged so as to face the permanent magnet with a slight gap therebetween. A permanent magnet rotating body and a magnetic coupling configured to rotate the disc relative to each other by a suction effect acting between the permanent magnet and a hysteresis material or a conductor. This is a mechanism for ON / OFF control of the ring.
In the case of the magnetic fan clutch device having such a configuration, when the excitation coil of the electromagnetic clutch is energized (ON), the armature is attracted and attracted to the clutch rotor, and the clutch rotor and the armature and the disk or the driven housing are integrated. The fan is rotated by the magnetic coupling so that the fan can be controlled by turning on / off the electromagnetic clutch. The electromagnetic clutch has a cooling water temperature, throttle opening, engine ON / OFF control is performed in conjunction with the rotation speed of the air conditioner and the air conditioner switch, etc., so that the fan rotation can be controlled accurately and stably. Further, when the fan is rotated by the magnetic coupling, the magnetic coupling is permanent. Due to the magnetic force of the magnet Because the torque is transmitted, the vehicle slips and the cushion starts, so the load when the electromagnetic clutch is turned on is small, and the fan noise can be significantly reduced compared to a fan clutch device without a magnetic coupling. It has excellent effects such as
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional magnet type fan clutch device, the magnet coupling is constituted by a permanent magnet rotating body and a permanent magnet attached to the rotating body, and can switch the direction of the magnetic flux between the permanent magnet and the electromagnetic clutch. However, there is a drawback that the rotation speed of the fan cannot be arbitrarily changed.
[0004]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problem, and a magnet-type fan clutch device capable of arbitrarily changing the rotation speed of a fan only by controlling ON / OFF of an electromagnetic clutch and a direction of an exciting current. It is what we are going to offer.
[0005]

The operation when the electromagnetic clutch is turned on and off in the magnetic fan clutch device shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 will be described with reference to FIGS.
First, FIG. 3 shows a state in which the exciting coil is not energized (the electromagnetic clutch is OFF) when the engine cooling water temperature is low, for example, 70 ° C. or less. [0012]
As described above, in the case of the magnetic fan clutch device of the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 6 to 8, the rotation of the fan can be changed by ON / OFF control of the electromagnetic clutch.
That is, as shown in FIG. 6, the relationship between the engine cooling water temperature and the fan rotation speed is such that when the engine cooling water temperature is as low as 70 ° C. or less and the excitation coil is not energized (the electromagnetic clutch is OFF), the fan does not rotate. However, when the temperature of the engine cooling water is 70 ° C., the excitation coil is energized (+) to turn on the electromagnetic clutch, so that only the inner permanent magnet 3-11a operates and the fan rotates at the Mid speed. Is 90 ° C. or higher, both the inner permanent magnet and the outer permanent magnet operate, and the fan is turned ON.
In addition, as for the relationship between the engine cooling water temperature and the fan rotation speed, the rotation speed of the fan can be changed as shown in FIG.
The above characteristics are for the case of a magnet type fan clutch device in which a permanent magnet (inner magnet) 4-2a is incorporated in the outer armature 4-2, but when the inner magnet is incorporated in the inner armature 4-1. As shown in FIG. 8, the Mid rotation can be set high as shown in the relationship between the engine cooling water temperature and the fan rotation speed.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, the magnet type fan clutch device according to the present invention has a permanent magnet rotating body having an inner and outer divided structure, and an armature is separately provided on the inner permanent magnet rotating body and the outer permanent magnet rotating body. Or, by incorporating a permanent magnet in the inner armature, the rotation speed of the fan can be arbitrarily changed only by ON / OFF control of one electromagnetic clutch, so that fan noise is reduced and fuel efficiency is improved. As a result, the initial torque applied to the electromagnetic clutch can be suppressed, so that there is an effect that downsizing and cost reduction can be realized.
