【0022】
制御器10はコンピュータ装置やPLC(プログラマブルロジックコントローラ、所謂プログラマブルシーケンサである)等の高速演算装置から構成されている。

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a mechanical protection method for an electric servomotor, a rotary mechanism using an eccentric shaft such as a crankshaft or an eccentric shaft, or a mechanical protection method for an electric servopress that drives a slide via a rotary drive and a link mechanism, particularly near the bottom dead center. The present invention relates to a mechanical protection method for an electric servo press suitable for protecting a press machine.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, press machines having a rotary mechanism using an eccentric shaft such as a crankshaft or an eccentric shaft by a motor, or a slide having a slide that can be driven up and down via a rotary drive and a link mechanism are often used. The press working is performed between an upper mold attached to a slide and a lower mold installed on a bolster (or bed).
[0003]
In such a press, as shown in FIG. 5, even when the output torque of the motor itself is constant near the bottom dead center of the slide stroke, the slide transmitted through the rotation mechanism, the link mechanism, and the like is used. The applied pressure becomes very large, and a theoretically infinite applied pressure occurs at the bottom dead center. For this reason, in conventional mechanical presses, in order to protect dies and machines by avoiding overload, if the load detected by a hydraulic overload protector or load detection sensor exceeds a predetermined allowable value, slide There is known a press in which a sudden stop is performed.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Due to the demand for higher precision and higher speed in small and medium-sized press working, recently, electric servo motors have been used to drive slides via eccentric shafts such as crankshafts and eccentric shafts, or via rotary drive and link mechanisms. An electric servo press has been developed, which has a mechanical structure that excels in high-speed, high-load slide motion, and whose machining stroke range can be varied to some extent by an electric servo motor. Is coming.
[0005]
However, in the above-described electric servomotor, even if the output torque of the servomotor is limited to a predetermined value, theoretically infinite pressure may be generated near the bottom dead center for the above-described reason. Normally, the rated value of the slide pressing force of the press device is defined as a predetermined maximum load required for the press device, and therefore, the capability is higher than the capacity due to a die height setting error, a work difference, a double blank, a mold difference, etc. If an excessive pressure is generated, the machine itself and the mold may be damaged or damaged. Therefore, in these servo presses, it is necessary to limit the pressure to less than a specified pressure in the vicinity of the bottom dead center so as not to damage the machine and the mold by an excessive pressure.
[0006]
However, when the above-described hydraulic overload protector is employed as the overload protection device, the operation oil chamber and the operation oil are disposed between the slide and the lower portion of a portion (for example, a plunger) for transmitting the drive load from the drive device to the slide. It is necessary to install a switching valve for switching the supply and discharge of the oil, a flexible hose for guiding the operation oil from the frame to the slide, and the like, and the structure of the slide is complicated and has to be increased in size. In addition, since the size of the slide increases, the press body must be large, and the cost of the entire press increases in combination with the cost of installing the overload protector and the overload protector.
[0007]
Also, since operation oil will be used for the slide part, if oil leakage occurs, oil stains will spread not only to the press but also to the workpiece and maintenance will be required, and this overload protector It is mounted on a slide with poor accessibility surrounded by the body frame, and it can be said that its maintenance is very difficult.
[0008]
The present invention has been made by paying attention to the above problems, and the capability load in the vicinity of the bottom dead center of a rotary mechanism using an eccentric shaft, or an electric servo press that drives a slide via a rotary drive and a link mechanism, is equal to or less than a predetermined value. An object of the present invention is to provide a mechanical protection method for an electric servo press, which suppresses the electric shock.
[0009]
Means for Solving the Problems, Functions and Effects
In order to achieve the object of the present invention, a first invention is an electric servomotor, which is a rotary mechanism using an eccentric shaft such as a crankshaft or an eccentric shaft, or an electric servopress that drives a slide through a rotary drive and a link mechanism. In the mechanical protection method, the output torque of the electric servomotor is controlled so that the slide pressure does not exceed a predetermined value near the bottom dead center of the slide.
[0010]
According to the first invention, in the machining stroke area near the bottom dead center, the limit value of the motor output torque is controlled in accordance with the slide position, that is, in accordance with the eccentric shaft rotation angle, so that the slide pressing force becomes a predetermined value (for example, (Pressing force required for the press device), so that excessive pressing force does not occur, and the machine caused by die height setting mistake, work difference, double blank, mold difference, etc. Breakage and damage of the mold itself and the mold can be reliably prevented. In addition, since it is not necessary to provide a special device such as a conventional overload protector on the slide, a complicated and large-scale mechanical structure is not obtained, and miniaturization can be achieved with a simple configuration.
[0011]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIGS.

First, referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, a mechanical configuration of an electric servo press that drives a slide via a rotation mechanism and a toggle link mechanism by an electric servo motor will be described as an example of an electric servo press to which the present invention is applied. FIGS. 1 and 2 are a partial cross-sectional side view and a partial cross-sectional view, respectively, of an electric servo press according to the present invention.

The motion setting means 17 is for setting a slide motion in accordance with the processing conditions of the workpiece, and is a switch such as a ten-key for setting data for defining the slide motion, or an IC storing these preset numerical values. It has a data input device from an external storage medium such as a card.

In the slide motion, it is possible to reduce the slide descent speed near the bottom dead center through the link mechanism even if the rotation speed of the servo motor is kept constant. By increasing or decreasing, it is possible to realize a sharp slide motion as shown in FIG. In FIG. 4B, the waveform of the motor torque undulates in the first half of the descending stroke due to an increase or decrease in the rotation speed of the servomotor.
Further, the slide may be continuously operated without stopping at the top dead center.

Next, the operation of the present embodiment having the above configuration will be described with reference to FIG.
As shown in FIG. 4A, it is assumed that the lower limit position D1 (including the bottom dead center) near the bottom dead center and before the bottom dead center is set as the lowest point target position of the slide motion. . As shown in FIG. 4B, when the

When the generated pressure reaches the limit value F, the motor torque limit value TL is controlled to gradually decrease as approaching the lower limit position D1, as shown by the curve C in FIG. Control is performed so as to be substantially constant at the limit value F shown in (c).
[0029]
As described above, according to the present embodiment, in the electric servo press in which the
[0030]
In addition, since it is not necessary to provide a special device such as a conventional overload protector on the slide, a portion between the slide and the lower portion of a portion (for example, a plunger) for transmitting a driving load from a driving device to the slide, which is conventionally required, is provided. In addition, the operation oil chamber, a switching valve for switching the supply and discharge of the operation oil, and a flexible hose for guiding the operation oil from the main body frame to the slide side are not required, so that the slide has a simple structure and can be downsized. In addition, the press body can naturally be made smaller by downsizing the slide, and together with the reduction of the overload protector, the cost of the entire press can be greatly reduced.
[0031]
Note that, in the above embodiment, the example of the electric servo press in which the slide is driven via the rotary drive and the link mechanism by the electric servo motor has been described. However, the present invention is not limited to this structure. It goes without saying that the present invention can also be applied to an electric servo press that drives a slide via an eccentric rotation mechanism such as an eccentric shaft.
Further, the example has been described in which the generated pressing force of the slide near the bottom dead center is controlled to a substantially constant value, but the present invention is not limited to this. The point is that the capacity load curve at the time of the suppression may be a curved line or an inclined straight line.
[0032]
In addition, when an infinite pressing force is theoretically generated on the slide at the bottom dead center, such as an electric servo press that drives the slide via an eccentric rotation mechanism, the generated pressing force is maintained at a constant value F. It is necessary to make the motor torque as close to 0 as possible. However, in reality, an infinite pressing force does not occur due to bending of the press frame and deformation of the drive system components. Rather, there is also a problem that an expected pressing force is not generated due to the bending of the frame or the like. Therefore, the motor torque is provided with an optimum lower limit value Td in consideration of these points.
[0033]
As described above, according to the present invention, the motor torque limit value is controlled in accordance with the eccentric shaft rotation angle so that the generated pressing force of the slide near the bottom dead center does not exceed the limit value. That is, since the motor torque value is limited, an excessive pressurizing force does not occur, and it can be suppressed to a predetermined value or less. Therefore, by setting the predetermined value to be suppressed to a value that can provide ideal protection for the press machine itself and the die, the die height setting error, work difference, double blank, die difference, etc. Of the machine itself and the mold can be reliably prevented. Further, since it is not necessary to provide a special device such as a conventional overload protector on the slide, a complicated and large-scale mechanical structure is not obtained, and the size can be reduced with a simple configuration.
[0034]
Still further, since it is not necessary to guide the operation oil for the overload protector to the slide portion, there is no fear of oil leakage, so that not only the press but also the work, as well as the countermeasures and the maintenance thereof are unnecessary. In addition, the overload protector is provided on a slide that is surrounded by the main body frame and has poor accessibility, and its maintenance is extremely difficult.
