・有機EL(electroluminescence)装置におけるEL発光層を形成するための発光材料。 ・PDP(Plasma Display Panel)装置における蛍光体を形成するための蛍光材料。

An object of the present invention is to provide an electro-optical device manufactured using the same, a method of manufacturing an electro-optical device using the droplet discharge device, and an electronic apparatus including the electro-optical device.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
Such an object is achieved by the present invention described below.
The work positioning device of the present invention, the device body,
A work transfer table on which the work can be placed;
A Y-axis direction moving mechanism for moving the work transfer table in one direction (hereinafter, referred to as “Y-axis direction”) that is horizontal to the apparatus main body;
A Y-axis direction guide installed on the apparatus main body, for correcting a position of the work in the Y-axis direction with respect to the work transfer table;
A Y-axis direction guide that raises and lowers the Y-axis direction guide to a lowering position where it can come into contact with an end surface of the work placed on the work transfer table, and a rising position that does not interfere with the work placed on the work transfer table. Lifting mechanism,
An X-axis direction guide for correcting a position of the work in a direction perpendicular to the Y-axis direction and horizontal to the work transfer table (hereinafter, referred to as “X-axis direction”);
An X-axis direction moving mechanism that relatively moves the X-axis direction guide relative to the work transfer table in the X-axis direction;
An X-axis guide that raises and lowers the X-axis direction guide to a lowering position where it can come into contact with an end surface of the work placed on the work transfer table and a rising position that does not interfere with the work placed on the work transfer table. A lifting mechanism.
Thus, with a simple configuration, the work can be accurately positioned with respect to the work transfer table, and the structure, size, and weight of the work transfer table can be simplified.
[0006]
In the work positioning device of the present invention, the X-axis direction guide is installed so as to be movable in the X-axis direction with respect to the device main body,
It is preferable that the X-axis direction moving mechanism moves the X-axis direction guide in the X-axis direction with respect to the apparatus main body.
This eliminates the need for the work transfer table to move in the X-axis direction with respect to the apparatus main body, so that the apparatus can be downsized.
[0007]
In the work positioning device of the present invention, it is preferable that a plurality of contact points of the Y-axis direction guide with respect to the work are arranged along the X-axis direction.
Thus, when correcting the position of the work with respect to the work transfer table in the Y-axis direction, the posture of the work can be corrected so that the side of the work that is brought into contact with the Y-axis direction guide is parallel to the X-axis direction.
[0008]
In the work positioning device of the present invention, it is preferable that a plurality of contact points of the X-axis direction guide with respect to the work are arranged along the Y-axis direction.
Accordingly, when correcting the position of the work with respect to the work transfer table in the X-axis direction, the posture of the work can be corrected so that the side of the work contacted by the X-axis direction guide is parallel to the Y-axis direction.
[0009]
In the work positioning apparatus of the present invention, the Y-axis direction guide and / or the X-axis direction guide has at least two rollers rotatably supported, and when in the lowered position, an outer peripheral surface of the rollers. Preferably can contact the end face of the work placed on the work transfer table.
Accordingly, when the Y-axis direction guide and / or the X-axis direction guide abut on the work, the work is not rubbed by the rotation of the roller, so that the work can be more reliably prevented from being damaged. .
[0010]
The work positioning device according to the present invention is provided at a position apart from the Y-axis guide in the Y-axis direction, and corrects the position of the work in the Y-axis direction with respect to the work transfer table. When,
Raising and lowering the second Y-axis direction guide to a lowering position where it can come into contact with an end surface of the work placed on the work transfer table, and a rising position that does not interfere with the work placed on the work transfer table. And two Y-axis guide elevating mechanisms.
It is preferable that the Y-axis direction guide and the second Y-axis direction guide abut on the workpiece from directions opposite to each other.
Thus, the moving distance of the work transfer table in the Y-axis direction can be reduced, and the length of the apparatus body in the Y-axis direction can be reduced.
It is preferable that the work positioning device of the present invention further includes a recognition camera for recognizing a mark provided on the work, and performs positioning such that the mark is in a field of view of the recognition camera.
Thereby, the workpiece can be positioned more accurately.
[0011]
In the work positioning device of the present invention, the recognition camera is installed so as to be movable in the X-axis direction with respect to the device main body together with the X-axis direction guide,
It is preferable that the X-axis direction moving mechanism moves both the X-axis direction guide and the recognition camera in the X-axis direction with respect to the apparatus main body.
Thereby, the recognition camera and the X-axis direction guide share the X-axis direction moving mechanism, so that the structure of the apparatus can be simplified.
[0012]
In the work positioning device of the present invention, it is preferable that the work transfer table has a movement resistance reducing unit that can reduce a movement resistance when the placed work moves with respect to the work transfer table.
Thus, the work can be smoothly moved on the work transfer table at the time of positioning, the positioning can be performed more accurately and more reliably, and the work can be more reliably prevented from being damaged.
[0013]
In the work positioning device of the present invention, the movement resistance reducing unit includes at least three rotatably supported balls, and a position where the balls protrude above a mounting surface of the work transfer table. And a ball elevating mechanism for elevating the ball to a position where the ball retracts below the placement surface.
Thus, with a simple structure, the movement resistance when the work moves with respect to the work transfer table can be reduced.
In the work positioning device of the present invention, it is preferable that the work transport table has a suction unit for sucking the placed work.
Thus, after positioning the work, the work can be securely fixed to the work transfer table.
[0014]
It is preferable that the work positioning device of the present invention further includes control means for controlling operations of the Y-axis direction moving mechanism, the Y-axis direction guide elevating mechanism, the X-axis direction moving mechanism, and the X-axis direction guide elevating mechanism. .
Thereby, the operation of the Y-axis direction moving mechanism, the Y-axis direction guide elevating mechanism, the X-axis direction moving mechanism, and the X-axis direction guide elevating mechanism can be controlled to execute the work positioning operation.
[0015]
In the work positioning device of the present invention, it is preferable that the work is positioned based on the work dimensional data stored in advance in the storage unit of the control means.
Thereby, accurate positioning can be performed according to the shape and size of the work.
In the work positioning device of the present invention, it is preferable that a position for positioning the work on the work transfer table can be set.
Thus, the position where the work is positioned on the work transfer table can be changed according to the work.
[0016]
The work positioning method of the present invention is a work positioning method of positioning a work placed on the work transfer table with respect to the work transfer table using the work positioning device of the present invention,
While moving the work transfer table in the Y-axis direction while the Y-axis direction guide is located at the lowered position, the Y-axis direction guide is brought into contact with an end surface of the work, so that At least one Y-axis direction position correcting step of correcting the position in the Y-axis direction with respect to the work transfer table;
While moving the X-axis direction guide relative to the work transfer table in the X-axis direction while the X-axis direction guide is located at the lowered position, the X-axis direction guide is moved to the end face of the work. At least one X-axis direction position correcting step of correcting the position of the work with respect to the work transfer table in the X-axis direction by contacting the work is provided.
Thus, the work can be accurately positioned with respect to the work transfer table with a simple configuration, and the structure of the work transfer table can be simplified and reduced in weight.
The work positioning method of the present invention is preferably performed in a state where temperature and / or humidity are controlled.
Thereby, the work can be positioned with higher accuracy with respect to the work transfer table.
[0017]
The droplet discharge device of the present invention, the work positioning device of the present invention,
A droplet discharge head that discharges droplets onto the work placed on the work transfer table.
Thus, it is possible to provide a droplet discharge device that can accurately position a work with respect to the work transfer table with a simple configuration, and that can simplify, reduce the size, and reduce the weight of the work transfer table. .
[0018]
In the droplet discharge device according to the aspect of the invention, it is preferable that the droplet discharge head is installed so as to be movable in the X-axis direction with respect to the device main body.
This eliminates the need for the work transfer table to move in the X-axis direction with respect to the apparatus main body, so that the apparatus can be downsized.
In the droplet discharge device of the present invention, after the work is positioned relative to the work transfer table by the operation of the work positioning device, the droplet is moved while the work transfer table and the droplet discharge head are relatively moved. It is preferable that a predetermined pattern is formed on the workpiece by discharging droplets from a discharge head.
Thereby, various patterns can be formed (drawn) on the work according to the purpose.
[0019]
The droplet discharge device of the present invention is preferably used in a state where it is housed in an isolated space.
Thereby, intrusion of dust, dust and the like can be prevented, and a pattern can be formed (drawn) by the discharged droplets while the work is kept clean.
In the droplet discharge device according to the aspect of the invention, it is preferable that the isolated space has an internal temperature and / or humidity controlled.
Thus, the positioning of the work on the work transfer table can be performed with higher precision, and the formation (drawing) of the pattern by the discharged droplets can be performed with higher precision.
[0020]

Next, a Y-axis direction position correction process as shown in FIG. 16 is performed. In the Y-axis direction position correcting step, first, as shown in (1) of FIG. 16, while the Y-axis direction guide 41 is lowered, the Y-axis direction guide is moved while the substrate carrying table 3 is retracted in the Y-axis direction. 41 is brought into contact with the end surface of the rear end W2 of the substrate W in the Y-axis direction. Next, as shown in (2) of FIG. 16, while the Y-axis direction guide 41 is raised and the second Y-axis direction guide 43 is lowered, the substrate transfer table 3 is moved forward in the Y-axis direction. Then, the Y-axis direction guide 41 is brought into contact (contact) with the end surface of the front end W3 in the Y-axis direction of the substrate W. Then, based on the dimension data of the substrate W stored in advance in the storage unit of the
[0076]
Next, an X-axis direction position correction process as shown in FIG. 17 is performed. In the X-axis direction position correcting step, as shown in (1) of FIG. 17, while the X-axis direction guide 45 is lowered and retracted in the X-axis direction, the X-axis direction guide 45 is moved in the X-axis direction of the substrate W. The end face of the front end W4 is brought into contact (contact). Then, based on the dimension data of the substrate W stored in advance in the storage unit of the
[0077]
Next, the X-axis direction guide 45 is once raised, and is retreated in the X-axis direction so that the X-axis direction guide 45 is located behind the rear end W5 of the substrate W in the X-axis direction. From this state, as shown in (2) of FIG. 17, the X-axis direction guide 45 is advanced in the X-axis direction with the X-axis direction guide 45 lowered, and the X-axis direction guide 45 is moved to the X-axis direction rear end W5 of the substrate W. Make contact (contact) with the end face. Then, based on the dimension data of the substrate W stored in advance in the storage unit of the
[0078]
During the above-described X-axis direction correcting step, the Y-axis direction guide 41 and the second Y-axis direction guide 43 may be in a raised state, but the second Y-axis direction guide 43 (or Y The state where the axial guide 41) descends and contacts (contacts) the front end W3 of the substrate W in the Y-axis direction (or the rear end W2 in the Y-axis direction) may be maintained. Thus, the position in the X-axis direction can be corrected while the position of the substrate W corrected in the Y-axis direction position correction step in the Y-axis direction is more reliably prevented from being shifted. In this case, since the roller 431 (or the roller 411) rotates, the second Y-axis direction guide 43 (or the Y-axis direction guide 41) does not prevent the substrate W from moving in the X-axis direction.
In addition, the order of (1) and (2) in FIG. 17 in the X-axis direction correction process as described above may be reversed. Further, the order of the Y-axis direction correcting step and the X-axis direction correcting step may be reversed.
[0079]
After completing the Y-axis direction correction step and the X-axis direction correction step as described above, the substrate transport table 3 and the

[0081]
As described above, according to the present invention, a work such as the substrate W can be accurately (highly) positioned on the work transfer table with a simple configuration. Therefore, when loading and placing the work on the work transfer table, the work need only be roughly aligned and placed, and it is not necessary to feed the work to an accurate position. Therefore, instead of using a robot (industrial robot) to accurately position the work and feed the work, the work may be fed manually by the work described above. Therefore, the amount of capital investment can be reduced and the cost can be reduced. It is also advantageous when handling relatively large workpieces in which it is difficult to use a robot for feeding materials. Further, even when a robot is used to supply the workpiece, when the workpiece becomes large, it is necessary to accurately position and supply the workpiece so that the alignment mark of the workpiece is within the field of view of the
[0082]
Further, since there is no need to install a positioning mechanism on the work transfer table, the structure of the work transfer table can be simplified, reduced in size and reduced in weight. Therefore, a relatively large work transfer table corresponding to a relatively large work can be easily manufactured.

Further, the contact portions of the Y-axis direction guide and the X-axis direction guide with respect to the substrate are not limited to those that contact the end surface of the work at a plurality of points as in this embodiment, and are continuous in the longitudinal direction of the end surface. The contact may be linear.
Further, in the present embodiment, the X-axis direction guide 45 and the
[0085]
Further, in the present invention, the work transfer table and the X-axis direction guide 45 only need to be relatively movable in the X-axis direction. Therefore, when there is a mechanism for moving the work transfer table in the X-axis direction, The X-axis direction guide 45 may be installed in the apparatus
[0086]
The work positioning device, the work positioning method, and the droplet discharge device of the present invention have been described above with reference to the illustrated embodiments. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the work positioning device and the droplet discharge device are configured as follows. Each of the components can be replaced with an arbitrary component having the same function. Further, an arbitrary component may be added.
For example, the Y-axis direction moving mechanism and the X-axis direction moving mechanism may be, for example, ball screws (feed screws) instead of linear motors. Further, the Y-axis direction guide elevating mechanism and the X-axis direction guide elevating mechanism may be, for example, a hydraulic cylinder, a ball screw (feed screw) or the like instead of the pneumatic cylinder.
[0087]
Further, in the present embodiment, the case where the work positioning device and the work positioning method of the present invention are applied to the droplet discharge device has been described. However, the work positioning device and the work positioning method of the present invention are not limited to this. The present invention can be applied to various other apparatuses such as an exposure apparatus.
Further, an electro-optical device according to the present invention is characterized by being manufactured using the above-described droplet discharge device according to the present invention. Specific examples of the electro-optical device according to the invention are not particularly limited, and examples thereof include a liquid crystal display device and an organic EL display device.
[0088]
