本発明は車両用シートに関し、特にダブルフォールド機構とウォークイン機構を備えた車両用シートにおいて、ウォークイン時にシートバックを前傾姿勢に保持するための構造の改良に関する。

車両用シートとして、荷室拡大時には図6(1)に示すように、スライドレール1のアッパレールに前端を結合したシートクッションS1を、水平の着座姿勢から前方へ跳ね上げて起立させる(鎖線)とともに、シートクッションS1が跳ね上げられて生じた空間内にシートバックS2を略水平に前倒させて(鎖線)、前倒したシートバックS2の上方を荷室空間として使用できるようにしたいわゆるダブルフォールド機構を備えたものがある。さらにこのような車両用シートにおいて、通常は乗降口の横に配置されており、上記乗降口からその後方の座席へ乗り込む(ウォークイン)際には邪魔にならないように、図6(2)に示すように、シートバックS2を、水平の着座姿勢にあるシートクッションS1に対して所定の前傾姿勢になるまで前方へ回転させると、アッパレールがスライドレール1のロアレール上を移動してシート全体が前方へ変位するようになっている、いわゆるウォークイン機構を備えたものがある。

図1には本発明を適用した車両用シートのシート後端下端部を示す。支持手段たるスライドレール1のロアレール11は車両フロアFに固定されており、このロアレール11に沿って図1の左右方向へ摺動自在にベース部材を構成するアッパレール12が配設されている。アッパレール12上にはベース部材を構成するパネル体21が固定されており、その後端は上方へ延出して、ここに、公知構造のリクライニング機構22を介してバックフレーム23の下端が回動可能に結合されている。ここで、リクライニング機構22は、シートバックS2が回動できないようにロックするロック機構、ロックを解除する操作レバー、シートバックS2を前方へ付勢する付勢部材を備えている。バックフレーム23には、これと一体に回動するストッパ3が設けられている。ストッパ3はリクライニング機構22の中心部から外周方向へ扇状に延びる板体で、リクライニング機構22の中心軸221に基端31が結合されている(図2)。
