Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、一つのOLTとOLTに接続される複数のONUで構成されるEPONで、複数のONUのうち少なくとも一つのONU又はOLTがマルチキャスト伝送を受信するためにONU又はOLTのMAC階層のマルチキャストMACアト゛レスからマルチキャスト情報を示すマルチキャストLLIDを生成することで、マルチキャスト伝送であるか否かを確認する方法において、マルチキャストMACアト゛レスを変更してMAC階層下のRS階層のLLIDフィールト゛に変更したアト゛レスをマッヒ゜ンク゛する過程、マルチキャスト伝送を示すモート゛情報を生成し、LLIDフィールト゛に隣接する位置にモート゛情報を位置させる過程、を備え、RS階層がONU又はOLTに伝送するマルチキャスト伝送であるか否かを確認する。

Claims (8)
- 一つのOLTと該OLTに接続される複数のONUで構成されるイーサネット(登録商標)受動型光加入者ネットワークで、複数のONUのうち少なくとも一つのONU又はOLTがマルチキャスト伝送を受信するためにONU又はOLTのMAC階層のマルチキャストMACアドレスからマルチキャスト情報を示すマルチキャストLLIDを生成することにより、マルチキャスト伝送であるか否かを確認する方法において、
(a) マルチキャストMACアドレスを変更し、該変更アドレスをMAC階層下のRS階層のLLIDフィールドにマッピングするマッピング過程と、
(b) マルチキャスト伝送を示すモード情報を生成し、LLIDフィールドに隣接する位置に該モード情報を位置する過程と、を備え、
RS階層が複数のONUのうち少なくとも一つのONU又はOLTに伝送したマルチキャスト伝送であるか否を確認することを特徴とする方法。 - (a)過程でのマルチキャストMACアドレスはハッシュ関数を使用して変更される請求項1記載の方法。
- ハッシュ関数は既存のブリッジで自分が所有するアドレス検索用のXOR関数を含む請求項2記載の方法。
- (a)過程でのマルチキャストMACアドレスはMAC階層におけるチェックサム用のCRC関数を利用して変更される請求項1記載の方法。
- RS階層はマルチキャスト伝送であるか否かを確認するために生成したLLIDをアドレスリストに追加する請求項1記載の方法。
- マッピング過程は、48ビットサイズのマルチキャストMACアドレスのうちグループ識別子用に23ビットをMAC階層下のRS階層における14ビットのLLIDフィールドにマッピングする請求項1記載の方法。
- マッピング過程は、48ビットサイズのマルチキャストMACアドレスをMAC階層下のRS階層における14ビットのLLIDフィールドにマッピングする請求項1記載の方法。
- 一つのOLTと該OLTに接続される複数のONUで構成されるイーサネット(登録商標)受動型光加入者ネットワークで、複数のONUのうち少なくとも一つのONU又はOLTがマルチキャスト伝送を受信するためにONU又はOLTのMAC階層のマルチキャストMACアドレスからマルチキャスト情報を示すマルチキャストLLIDを生成することにより、マルチキャスト伝送であるか否かを確認する方法において、
マルチキャストMACアドレスのうちグループ識別子がLLIDフィールドに割り当てられたプリアンブルのバイト数を増加させてMAC階層下のRS階層のLLIDフィールドに挿入する過程と、
マルチキャスト伝送であることを示すモード情報を生成し、LLIDフィールドに隣接する位置に該モード情報を位置させる過程と、を備え、
RS階層がONU又はOLTに伝送したマルチキャスト伝送であるか否かを確認することを特徴とする方法。
