Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a waste plastic recycling technique, and more particularly to a dechlorination apparatus using microwaves of waste plastic containing polyvinyl chloride.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, the recycling technology of waste plastics generated in various industrial fields has attracted attention. However, polyvinyl chloride (hereinafter sometimes abbreviated as PVC) has a chlorine content in its composition, so it has to be compared with other plastics. On the other hand, there were difficult problems in recycling to fuel and the like.
[0003]
In other words, polyvinyl chloride contained in waste plastic in the recycling of plastic has a bad effect such as generating hydrogen chloride during incineration and damaging the incinerator, or mixing hydrogen chloride into the recovered fuel. Pretreatment is required to separate and remove only vinyl chloride or to dechlorinate from polyvinyl chloride.
[0004]
Generally, methods such as a flotation method and a centrifugal separation method are known as pre-fractionation methods, but the separation accuracy of polyvinyl chloride is not sufficient. As a method of dechlorination, a method using a rotary kiln or a method using a twin-screw extruder has been developed. In any of these methods, polyvinyl chloride contained in waste plastic is heated (at high-temperature atmosphere). In addition, it is necessary to heat the entire waste plastic in order to dechlorinate, and there is a disadvantage that energy efficiency is low and running cost is high.
[0005]
Therefore, as a method for improving the above-mentioned drawbacks of the dechlorination technology, waste plastic containing polyvinyl chloride is dielectrically heated by microwaves, and only the polyvinyl chloride is heated. A new pre-processing method capable of removing (for example, see Patent Document 1) has been disclosed. However, there is no description about a specific apparatus configuration for dechlorinating waste plastic by microwave processing.
[0006]
Similarly, a method of treating an organic substance, particularly for waste tires, using dielectric heating by microwaves (see, for example, Patent Document 2) has been disclosed. This disclosure also mentions a specific device configuration. However, this device is not intended for dechlorination of polyvinyl chloride, and adopts a configuration in which a plurality of microwave oscillators are used to irradiate microwaves from above to below the object located at the bottom of the device to heat them. Although the irradiation area is covered by the shielding plate, the irradiation efficiency of the microwave is not sufficient.

By applying the microwave irradiation energy to the waste plastic to the maximum extent, the removal of polyvinyl chloride in the waste plastic is achieved. It is an object or an object of the present invention to provide a continuous dechlorination apparatus for waste plastic capable of efficiently realizing chlorine.
[0009]
