Abstract
Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a digital camera with a field sequential light emission strobe, and more particularly to a digital camera with a field sequential light emission strobe capable of obtaining a high quality image.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventional digital cameras use color image sensors with color filters such as R, G, B (red, green, blue) or Mg, Cy, Ye (magenta, cyan, yellow) attached, and strobe light. As a photographer using a white light source such as a xenon tube.
[0003]
In recent years, strobe devices that use R, G, and B light emitting diodes (LEDs) as strobe light sources, change the color temperature of strobe light, and can emit strobe light with a slow shutter have been proposed (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2002-2001). -116481).
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, the luminance signal generated based on the R, G, B signals output from the color image sensor is R: G: B = 0.3: 0 so as to match the sensitivity characteristic with respect to the brightness of human eyes. .6: 0.1, the SN of B is poor, and there is a problem that noise in dark portions of B color increases when an image is printed based on captured image data.
[0005]
Further, since the color image sensor generates R, G, and B signals on a certain pixel by interpolating an insufficient color signal from surrounding pixels, the color image sensor is more than a monochrome image sensor having the same number of pixels. There is also a problem that the resolution is low. In order to solve this problem, some have three-plate type image pickup devices for R, G, and B. In this case, however, the number of image pickup devices, installation space, and the like increase.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a digital camera with a field-sequential light-emission strobe that can obtain a high-quality color image using a monochrome image sensor without a color filter. And
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a digital camera with a field sequential light emission strobe according to claim 1 is a field sequential light emission strobe that emits R, G, B strobe light in a field sequential manner, a monochrome image pickup unit, and the field sequential light emission. R, G, and B strobe lights are sequentially emitted in a predetermined order from the light-emitting strobe, and the imaging means is operated in synchronization with the R, G, and B strobe lights, and R, G, And a control means for acquiring a frame sequential image of B.
[0008]
That is, R, G, B strobe lights are emitted three times in a predetermined order from the surface sequential light emission strobe light, and three images corresponding to the R, G, B color strobe lights are acquired by the black and white imaging means. I am doing so. The frame sequential light emission strobe may be externally attached to the digital camera or may be built in.
[0009]
As a result, a high-resolution image can be obtained as compared with the color image pickup means having the same number of pixels, and the B image has a better SN than that obtained from the color image pickup means. Good printing is obtained.
[0010]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided recording means for recording the acquired R, G, B frame sequential images on a recording medium. These three images of R, G, and B are appropriately combined and used for printing or reproduction.
[0011]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, there is provided a combining unit that combines the acquired frame sequential images of R, G, and B to generate one image, and a recording unit that records the generated image on a recording medium. It is characterized by having.
[0012]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, the frame sequential light emission strobe includes adjusting means for adjusting the light emission amounts of R, G, and B strobe lights. By adjusting the light emission amounts of the R, G, and B strobe lights, respectively, the color temperature of the entire three light emission can be adjusted.
[0013]
