【従来の技術】

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところが、従来のキーを使用してアドレス帳に登録する画像形成装置では、通常の手動操作であるパネル手段に配置されている様々なキーによるアドレス帳への登録が人為的なミスを発生させる要素が大きく、かつ非常に手間がかかるという問題があった。

本発明は、上記問題に鑑みてなされたものであり、原稿を読み取るスキャン手段と、印刷画像データおよび複数の項目で形成されたアドレス帳を記憶する記憶手段と、前記スキャン手段にて読み取ったデータまたは前記記憶手段に記憶している印刷画像データを外部装置に送信する送信手段と、を備え、前記スキャン手段にて読み取ったデータに基づきアドレス帳への登録が可能な画像形成装置において、前記スキャン手段にてアドレス帳への登録のための読み取りを行う場合は、線または枠体により前記複数の項目の区分を行う画像形成装置としたものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施例について図面を用いて説明する。
図１は、本発明の画像形成装置を示す構成ブロック図であり、スキャン手段１、制御手段２、メモリ手段３、パネル手段４、ネットワーク手段５、印刷手段６よりなる。

そして、図２（ｂ）に示すように、登録したいデータを枠内に記載する。図２（ｂ）から判るように、対応する枠内に情報が書いてあれば、上下左右にずれていてもスキャン手段１にてその枠内のデータを問題なく読み取ることができるようになる。なお、本実施例では、枠により各項目を区切った場合について説明したが、線により各項目を区切ってもよい。スキャン手段１にて原稿の全てのデータをスキャンしていたのでは処理に大きな時間を要するが、本発明のように枠または線により各項目を区切り、その部分のみＯＣＲにかける処理を行えばよいために、短時間での処理（登録）が可能となる。

以上説明したように、本発明の画像形成装置によれば、スキャン手段にてアドレス帳への登録のための読み取りを行う場合は、線または枠体により複数の項目の区分を行うことにより、スキャン手段にて確実かつ短時間にアドレス帳への登録を行える画像形成装置を提供できる。
