Description
【0001】
|I|=〔{(Iq )2 +(Id )2 }/2〕1/2 …(1)
|V* |=〔{(Vq * )2 +(Vd * )2 }/2〕1/2 …(2)
|P|=|I| ×|V|,
|P|≒|I| ×|V* |,
|P|≒|I* |×|V|,
|P|≒|I* |×|V* | …(3)
【0008】
Ib=P/(η×Vb) (0<η≦1) …(5)
P = Th ×ω,
Th = K×I,
ω = dθ/dt …(6)

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a motor control device that includes a voltmeter that measures a power supply voltage Vb applied to a three-phase inverter and that controls three-phase driving of a brushless DC motor using the three-phase inverter, and in particular, power is supplied to the inverter. The present invention relates to a means for estimating a current value.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in a motor control device that performs three-phase drive control of a brushless DC motor using a three-phase inverter, a power supply, an inverter, or both of them are used as means for detecting an excessive state (overcurrent) of current supplied to the inverter. An ammeter (current sensor) provided on the connection wiring connecting the terminals has been used.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in such a conventional configuration, it is necessary to provide the above-described ammeter (current sensor), so that an increase in cost is inevitable. Also, if the above ammeter is omitted (discontinued), the amount of current supplied to the inverter becomes unknown, so that it becomes impossible to detect an excessive current state, and it is difficult to take appropriate abnormal measures. It becomes.
[0004]
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problem, and an object of the present invention is to realize an inexpensive motor control device capable of detecting an excess state (overcurrent) of a current supplied to an inverter. That is.
[0005]
Means for Solving the Problems, Functions and Effects of the Invention
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the following means are effective.
That is, a first means includes a voltmeter for measuring a power supply voltage Vb applied to a three-phase inverter, and a motor control device for controlling the three-phase drive of the brushless DC motor using the three-phase inverter. Power estimating means for estimating the power P consumed by the brushless DC motor based on both the motor current I and the motor voltage V on the dq coordinate plane, and 3 based on both the power supply voltage Vb and the power P Power supply current estimating means for estimating the value of the power supply current Ib supplied to the phase inverter.
[0006]
As the motor current I and the motor voltage V, a current command value I * , a voltage command value V *, and the like can be used in addition to the actual measured values. Hereinafter, the symbol “*” attached to the right shoulder of each variable indicates a command value.
The values of the measured values of the motor current, the voltage command values, and the like (eg, effective values | I |, | V * |, etc.) are obtained by a well-known calculation procedure such as the following equation (1) or (2). be able to.
(Equation 1)
| I | = [{( Iq ) 2 + ( Id ) 2 } / 2] 1/2 (1)
(Equation 2)
| V * | = [{(V q *) 2 + (V d *) 2} / 2 ] 1/2 (2)
(symbol)
I q: measured value of q-axis current I d: measured value of d-axis current V q *: command value of q-axis voltage V d *: command value of the d-axis voltage course, each of these variables, the actual physical A typical measurement value may be used, or a control command value may be used. When selecting these, the system configuration related to the presence or absence of various sensors (such as a voltmeter and an ammeter for each phase), the easiness of implementation of an arithmetic method, the CPU overhead, and the estimation accuracy of a desired value In view of the above, an appropriate variable can be arbitrarily used.
However, it is assumed that the command value does not greatly change with time. In the case where the command value changes discontinuously and sharply, the command value cannot be used in place of the measured value.
[0007]
For example, the above power estimating means can estimate the power P (effective value) as in the following equation (3). If the value of P is required as it is, the sign (phase) of each variable may be considered.
In general, regenerative power does not cause an overcurrent, so that it is often sufficient to know only the effective value of the power P.
[Equation 3]
| P | = | I | × | V |,
| P | ≒ | I | × | V * |,
| P | ≒ | I * | × | V |,
| P | ≒ | I * | × | V * | (3)
[0008]
However, as can be seen from Equations (1) and (2), a motor control device that does not use a field current and normally sets I d * ≒ 0, V d * ≒ 0, etc. The following equation (4) can be substituted for the above equation (3).
(Equation 4)
P ≒ I q × V q ,
P ≒ I q × V q * ,
P ≒ I q * × V q ,
P ≒ Iq * × Vq * (4)
[0009]
Using these equations, the power supply current estimating means can estimate the value of the power supply current Ib supplied to the three-phase inverter 2 according to the following equation (5).
(Equation 5)
Ib = P / (η × Vb) (0 <η ≦ 1) (5)
Here, the coefficient η is a power factor. The voltage drop that may occur due to wiring between the power supply and the inverter or the like may slightly affect the value of the coefficient η. However, even in such a case, the optimal value of the power factor η can be empirically determined.
[0010]
For example, if the value of the power supply current Ib supplied to the three-phase inverter is estimated by the above means, it is not necessary to provide an ammeter for directly measuring the power supply current supplied to the three-phase inverter. Therefore, according to the present invention, an inexpensive motor control device capable of detecting an excessive state (overcurrent) of the current supplied to the inverter can be realized.
[0011]
Further, a second means of the present invention is a motor control device which includes a voltmeter for measuring a power supply voltage Vb applied to a three-phase inverter, and performs three-phase drive control of a brushless DC motor using the three-phase inverter. Power estimation means for estimating the power P consumed by the brushless DC motor based on both the output torque estimation value Th and the angular velocity measurement value ω for the brushless DC motor, and based on both the power supply voltage Vb and the power P Power supply current estimating means for estimating the value of the power supply current Ib supplied to the three-phase inverter.
[0012]
When the second means is compared with the first means, only the method of estimating the power P in the power estimating means is different.
That is, the power P can also be estimated using the following equation (6).
(Equation 6)
P = Th × ω,
Th = K × I,
ω = dθ / dt (6)
Here, θ is the rotation angle of the motor and can be input from a rotation angle sensor for controlling a brushless DC motor. The same procedure as the first means of measurement I above: according to (Example formula (1)), for example, can be determined from the I q, I d or the like. The above constant K is a motor constant (torque constant).
[0013]
Further, the above equation (1) or formula (6) In addition to the method for obtaining the output torque estimated value T h from such an alternative output torque estimated value T h of the command value of the output torque T * (6) The method used as a variable is applicable.
[0014]
For example, the value of the power supply current Ib supplied to the three-phase inverter can be estimated from the above formulas (1), (5), and (6) by the above means. It is not necessary to provide an ammeter for directly measuring the power supply current to be supplied. Therefore, the second means of the present invention can also realize an inexpensive motor control device capable of detecting an excessive state (overcurrent) of the current supplied to the inverter.
[0015]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, there is provided an electric power steering apparatus for outputting an assist torque for assisting a driver of a vehicle, wherein the electric power steering apparatus includes any one of the above motor control apparatuses and the power supply current Ib (estimated value). Abnormality determining means for performing a determination on an abnormality (overcurrent) using the same, and emergency control stopping means for stopping the three-phase drive control of the brushless DC motor by the motor controller when the abnormality determining means detects the abnormality (overcurrent) Is provided.
[0016]
For example, in such an electric power steering apparatus, there is no possibility that unexpected steering may be performed due to an excessive current flowing through the motor. That is, in such an electric power steering device, sufficient safety can be obtained at a lower cost than in the past.
By the means of the present invention described above, the above problems can be effectively or rationally solved.
[0017]
