Abstract

In the equipment, reduced screen data reduced in screen data is prepared based on the screen data on the web site read by means of the web browser and the address information. 本発明は、電子機器及び電子機器のデータ表示・選択方法及びウェブブラウザに関する。詳しくは、電子機器に搭載したウェブブラウザで記録される「ブックマーク」データを分かり易い方法で表示・選択できる電子機器及び電子機器のデータ表示・選択方法及びウェブブラウザに関する。

【従来の技術】
従来技術において、パーソナルコンピュータなどの機器によってインターネット上の所望のウェブサイトを閲覧する場合、ウェブブラウザによってこのウェブサイトのアドレス（ＵＲＬ；Ｕｎｉｆｏｒｍ　Ｒｅｓｏｕｒｃｅ　Ｌｏｃａｔｏｒ）情報を入力したり、検索サイトでキーワード等を入力して検索したり、リンク（ハイパーリンク）されているウェブページを辿って行くことで、所望のウェブサイト（ウェブページ）を閲覧することができる。

一方、最近では、パーソナルコンピュータだけではなく、フラッシュメモリのようなリムーバブルメモリのリード／ライト装置、ハードディスクなどの記録装置、放送チューナ、ＣＤ（Ｃｏｍｐａｃｔ　Ｄｉｓｋ）やＤＶＤ（Ｄｉｇｉｔａｌ　Ｖｅｒｓａｔｉｌｅ　Ｄｉｓｋ）の記録／再生装置などの機能を複合的に組み合わせた電子機器が登場し、更に、このような電子機器に上述したウェブブラウザを搭載してウェブサイトを閲覧できる電子機器もあり、今後ウェブサイトへのアクセス（閲覧）は益々増加する傾向にある。

ところで、上述したパーソナルコンピュータや電子機器に搭載したウェブブラウザには、ユーザがウェブサイトにアクセスするためのアドレス情報（ＵＲＬ）やキーワードを入力したり、リンクをたどっていくなどの手間を省き、簡単にウェブサイトへ再訪できるように、気に入ったウェブサイトのアドレス情報（ＵＲＬ）を文字情報（テキストデータ）と関連づけした「ブックマーク」データ（以下、ブックマークと云う）として記録（登録）しておく機能があり、一度ブックマークで記録したウェブサイトを閲覧する場合、次回にこのウェブサイトを閲覧する際は、記録してあるブックマークを呼出し、所望のブックマークを選択するだけで、所望のウェブサイト（のウェブページ）が自動的にウェブブラウザに表示される。

例えば、図２０のように、パーソナルコンピュータや電子機器に搭載されたウェブブラウザ６００で、アドレス情報「ｈｔｔｐ：／／ｗｗｗ．ｓｅｋａｉｆｕｕｋｅｉ．ｃｏｍ」のウェブサイト「世界風景紀行」を閲覧している場合、このウェブサイトを「ブックマーク」として登録するときは、ウェブブラウザの「ブックマーク」ボタン６１０を選択する。

「ブックマーク」ボタン６１０を選択すると、図２１のようにウィンドウ（子画面）６３０が表示される。

ウィンドウ６３０内には、ウェブサイトをブックマークとして記録する「ブックマーク追加」ボタン６３１、記録してあるブックマークの消去や名前変更などの操作を行うための「ブックマーク整理」ボタン６３２と、「ウェブサイトＺ」、「レストラン情報」、「ｅ−ショッピング」など、ウェブサイト名やウェブサイトの特徴を表す名称で既に記録してあるブックマークを表示する一覧表示部６３５が表示される。

ここで、図２０のウェブサイト「世界風景紀行」を登録する場合は、図２１のウィンドウ６３０に表示された「ブックマーク追加」ボタン６３１を選択・操作することにより、ウェブサイトのアドレス情報「ｈｔｔｐ：／／ｗｗｗ．ｓｅｋａｉｆｕｕｋｅｉ．ｃｏｍ」と関連付けした「世界風景紀行」という文字情報（テキストデータ）が所定の記録部に記録（登録）される。

ウェブサイト「世界風景紀行」がブックマークとして記録されると、図２２に示すように、ウィンドウ６３０の一覧表示部６３５には、「世界風景紀行」という文字情報（テキストデータ）で登録されたブックマークが追加表示される。

そして、このブックマーク「世界風景紀行」を選択するとアドレス情報「ｈｔｔｐ：／／ｗｗｗ．ｓｅｋａｉｆｕｕｋｅｉ．ｃｏｍ」に従ってウェブサイト「世界風景紀行」にアクセスし、ウェブブラウザにウェブサイト「世界風景紀行」（のウェブページ）が表示される（図２０参照）。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上述したウェブブラウザにおけるブックマーク機能は、ウェブサイト（ウェブページ）のアドレス情報と文字情報（テキストデータ）を関連付て記録し、文字情報（テキストデータ）として一覧表示するので、お気に入りのウェブサイトを次々に追加登録してブックマークの数が増加していくと、文字情報（テキストデータ）の表示を見ただけではどのようなウェブサイトであったのかを直感的に判別することが難しく、ブックマークの選択に手間がかかってしまうという問題がある。

また、上述したようなリムーバブルメモリのリード／ライト装置、ハードディスクなどの記録装置、放送チューナ、ディスク媒体の記録／再生装置などの機能を複合的に組み合わせ、且つ、ウェブブラウザが搭載された電子機器が増加すると、これまでにウェブサイトの閲覧を行ったことがない不慣れなユーザの利用も増えることが考えられるので、ブックマークとして登録したウェブサイトを分かり易い方法で表示し、選択できるようにする必要がある。

従って、電子機器などに搭載したウェブブラウザによって記録（登録）される「ブックマーク」データを分かり易い方法で表示・選択できるようにすることに解決しなければならない課題を有する。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記課題を解決するため、本発明に係る電子機器及び電子機器のデータ表示・選択方法及びウェブブラウザは次のような構成にすることである。

（１）ネットワークに接続されているウェブサーバにアクセスする通信手段と、前記ウェブサーバが有するウェブサイトを閲覧するためのウェブブラウザと、を備えた電子機器であって、前記ウェブブラウザは、該ウェブブラウザで閲覧しているウェブサイトの画面データとアドレス情報に基づき、該画面データを縮小した縮小画面データを作成し、該縮小画面データと前記アドレス情報とを関連づけしたサムネイルデータを生成するサムネイル生成手段と、前記サムネイル生成手段で生成したサムネイルデータを前記電子機器の所定の記録領域に記録するサムネイル記録手段と、前記所定の記録領域に記録してあるサムネイルデータを所定の個数まとめて一覧表示するサムネイル表示手段と、前記サムネイル表示手段で一覧表示されたサムネイルデータの中から所望のサムネイルデータを選択するサムネイル選択手段と、前記サムネイル選択手段で選択したサムネイルデータを操作するサムネイル操作手段と、を備えていることを特徴とする電子機器。
（２）前記サムネイル操作手段は、前記サムネイル選択手段で選択したサムネイルデータのアドレス情報に従って所定のウェブサイトを画面表示することを特徴とする（１）に記載の電子機器。
（３）前記サムネイル操作手段は、前記サムネイル選択手段で選択したサムネイルデータを前記サムネイル表示手段による一覧表示から消去することを特徴とする（１）に記載の電子機器。
（４）前記サムネイル操作手段は、前記サムネイル選択手段で選択したサムネイルデータを前記サムネイル表示手段による一覧表示の所望の表示位置に移動できることを特徴とする（１）に記載の電子機器。
（５）前記サムネイル生成手段は、生成するサムネイルデータに所望のテキストデータを付加できることを特徴とする（１）に記載の電子機器。
（６）前記サムネイル操作手段は、前記付加したテキストデータを変更できることを特徴とする（５）に記載の電子機器。

（８）ネットワークに接続されているウェブサーバにアクセスする通信手段と、前記ウェブサーバが有するウェブサイトを閲覧するためのウェブブラウザと、を備えた電子機器において、前記ウェブブラウザで閲覧しているウェブサイトの画面データとアドレス情報に基づき、縮小画面データを作成し、該縮小画面データと前記アドレス情報とを関連づけしたサムネイルデータを生成して記録し、所定の操作を行うと、前記記録してあるサムネイルデータを所定の個数まとめて一覧表示し、該一覧表示されたサムネイルデータの中から所望のサムネイルデータを選択すると、所定の画面表示を行うことを特徴とする電子機器のデータ表示・選択方法。
（９）前記選択したサムネイルデータに関連づけされた前記アドレス情報に従い、所定のウェブサイトを画面表示することを特徴とする（８）に記載の電子機器のデータ表示・選択方法。
（１０）前記選択したサムネイルデータを前記一覧表示から消去するして画面表示することを特徴とする（８）に記載の電子機器のデータ表示・選択方法。
（１１）前記選択したサムネイルデータを前記一覧表示の所望の表示位置に移動して画面表示することを特徴とする（８）に記載の電子機器のデータ表示・選択方法。

（１２）ネットワークに接続されているウェブサーバにアクセスする通信手段と、を備えた電子機器に搭載するウェブブラウザであって、前記ウェブブラウザは、該ウェブブラウザで閲覧しているウェブサイトの画面データとアドレス情報に基づき、該画面データを縮小した縮小画面データを作成し、該縮小画面データと前記アドレス情報とを関連づけしたサムネイルデータを生成するサムネイル生成手段と、前記サムネイル生成手段で生成したサムネイルデータを前記電子機器の所定の記録領域に記録するサムネイル記録手段と、前記所定の記録領域に記録してあるサムネイルデータを所定の個数まとめて一覧表示するサムネイル表示手段と、前記サムネイル表示手段で一覧表示されたサムネイルデータの中から所望のサムネイルデータを選択するサムネイル選択手段と、前記サムネイル選択手段で選択したサムネイルデータを操作するサムネイル操作手段と、を備えていることを特徴とするウェブブラウザ。
（１３）前記サムネイル操作手段は、前記サムネイル選択手段で選択したサムネイルデータのアドレス情報に従って所定のウェブサイトを画面表示すること

（１４）前記サムネイル操作手段は、前記サムネイル選択手段で選択したサムネイルデータを前記サムネイル表示手段による一覧表示から消去することを特徴とする（１２）に記載のウェブブラウザ。
（１５）前記サムネイル操作手段は、前記サムネイル選択手段で選択したサムネイルデータを前記サムネイル表示手段による一覧表示の所望の表示位置に移動できることを特徴とする（１２）に記載のウェブブラウザ。
（１６）前記サムネイル生成手段は、生成するサムネイルデータに所望のテキストデータを付加できることを特徴とする（１２）に記載のウェブブラウザ。

上述したように、電子機器が有するウェブブラウザで閲覧しているウェブサイトの画面データとアドレス情報に基づき、縮小画面データを作成し、この縮小画面データとアドレス情報とを関連付けしたサムネイルデータを生成し、生成したサムネイルデータをブックマークとして記録し、所定の操作を行うと、ブックマークとして記録してあるサムネイルデータを所定の個数まとめて一覧表示するので、ブックマークを画像データとして判別・選択して操作できるようになる。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に、本発明に係る電子機器及び電子機器のデータ表示・選択方法及びウェブブラウザの実施の形態を図面を参照して説明する。但し、図面は専ら解説のためのものであって、本発明の技術的範囲を限定するものではない。

図１は、ウェブブラウザを搭載した電子機器１００と、ウェブサイト２１０を持つサーバ２００とから構成され、ネットワーク５０を介して接続されている。

電子機器１００は、ウェブブラウザを介してサーバ２００（サーバ２００ａ、２００ｂ・・・）の中からから所望のサーバを選択し、選択したサーバの有するウェブサイトをウェブブラウザによって閲覧することができる。
