Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a drive structure for an oil pump.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, Japanese Patent Laying-Open No. 2001-280111 (hereinafter referred to as a prior art) discloses a drive structure of an oil pump mounted on an engine. In this prior example, the power of the crankshaft is transmitted to the oil pump by the following drive structure. A drive gear is attached to one end of the crankshaft, and an idler gear that meshes with the drive gear is attached to the idler shaft. By the meshing of these gears, the power of the crankshaft is transmitted to the idler shaft. An input side pulley for transmitting power to the oil shaft is attached to the idler shaft, and an output side pulley corresponding to the pulley is attached to the pump shaft. A chain belt is stretched between these pulleys, and power is transmitted from the idler shaft to a pump shaft for driving the oil pump via the belt.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the drive structure of the oil pump in the above-described prior example, the power of the crankshaft is indirectly transmitted to the oil pump via components such as an idler gear and a chain belt. In such a structure, the center distance between the crankshaft and the oil shaft can be freely designed, but the number of parts tends to be large and the structure tends to be complicated, which tends to increase the cost of the entire engine.
[0004]
Further, the interaxial distance between the crankshaft and the pump shaft increases due to the interposition of the idler shaft. Further, power of the transmission mechanism is transmitted by a belt mechanism between a drive pulley attached to the other end of the crankshaft and a driven pulley attached to the main shaft of the transmission mechanism. For this reason, it is necessary to arrange a drive pulley for driving the transmission mechanism at one end of the crankshaft, and to arrange a drive gear for driving the above-described oil pump at the other end. As a result, the length of the crankshaft is increased, which causes inconvenience in downsizing the engine.
[0005]
By the way, the discharge capacity of the oil pump changes according to the rotational speed ratio between the crankshaft and the pump shaft that drives the oil pump. That is, when the rotational speed ratio between the crankshaft and the main shaft on the transmission mechanism side (transmission) is changed, the rotational speed ratio between the pump shaft and the main shaft also changes in accordance with this change. As a result, the oil discharge capacity of the oil pump fluctuates, and the output performance of the engine may fluctuate accordingly.
[0006]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to reduce the number of parts in a drive structure of an oil pump in an engine, thereby achieving further cost reduction by simplification of the structure and downsizing of the engine.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve such a problem, the present invention provides a drive structure of an oil pump, in which a crankshaft, a main shaft to which a transmission mechanism is attached, a pump shaft to drive the oil pump, and a first shaft attached to the crankshaft , A second gear attached to the main shaft and transmitting the power of the crankshaft to the main shaft by meshing with the first gear, and a first gear or a second gear attached to the pump shaft. A drive structure for an oil pump having a third gear that meshes with a gear to transmit power of a crankshaft to a pump shaft is provided.
[0008]
Here, in the present invention, the gear ratio between the first gear and the third gear is preferably 1 in order to optimize the oil discharge capacity of the oil pump in the entire speed range of the engine.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the drive structure of the oil pump according to the present invention, power transmission from the crankshaft to the pump shaft is performed via the drive gear, the driven gear, and the pump gear, or via the drive gear and the pump gear. ing. Therefore, since an idler gear, a chain belt, and the like are not required, the number of parts can be reduced, and the structure can be simplified, the cost can be reduced, and the engine can be downsized.
