Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a rotor (rotor) used for a rotating machine and the like and a method for manufacturing the same, and more particularly, to a rotor that forms a magnetic field using a plurality of magnets and a method for manufacturing the same.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, permanent magnets having a strong magnetic force have been developed and used for rotors of rotating machines such as motors and generators. In particular, rare earth / iron / boron-based sintered magnets (R-Fe-B-based sintered magnets) exhibit high magnetic energy products and are relatively inexpensive, and thus are used in a wide range of fields.
[0003]
As a motor using a permanent magnet, a so-called IPM (Interior Permanent Magnet) motor in which a permanent magnet is embedded in a rotor is known. IPM motors are used in electric vehicles and the like. FIG. 1 shows a

[0006]
On the other hand, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-16808 discloses a method in which a plurality of magnets are housed in a case made of a non-magnetic material and then inserted into a through hole (slot). By doing so, it is possible to more easily perform the operation of housing the magnet.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when a plurality of permanent magnets are incorporated in a rotor in close proximity as described in the above-mentioned publication, a large eddy current is generated in the magnets during rotation of the rotor unless sufficient electrical insulation between the magnets is secured. Occurs. Although the above publication describes that the magnet is housed in a case made of a non-magnetic material, when this case is formed of a highly conductive non-magnetic material such as aluminum, for example, the magnets between adjacent magnets Low electrical insulation. As a result, a large eddy current is generated, and the energy conversion efficiency of the motor or the generator is reduced.
[0008]
Further, the case described in the above publication does not have a configuration that regulates the position of each magnet, and when each magnet is formed smaller than a desired size, The magnet may move relatively large. In this case, when the case is inserted into the slot or the like, collision between the magnets occurs, and chipping or cracking is likely to occur. Also, in order to prevent this, it is necessary to regulate the position when fixing with an adhesive or the like.
[0009]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-86671 discloses that a plurality of magnets are integrated by constraining them with a high-strength fiber band, thereby facilitating insertion into a slot and providing a non-conductive resin layer on the surface of the magnets. It is described that by forming it, the insulating property between adjacent magnets is improved. According to such a method, generation of eddy current can be prevented, but the process of fixing and fixing the magnet with the fiber band is complicated, and it takes time and effort to manufacture the rotor.
[0010]
A similar problem occurs not only in the rotor for IPM as described above, but also in a rotor manufactured by fixing a plurality of magnets on the outer peripheral surface of the rotor body. That is, unless the magnets fixed to the rotor body are properly insulated from each other, the energy conversion rate of the rotating machine decreases due to the generation of eddy current. Further, when fixing a plurality of magnets to the rotor body, it is not easy to fix each magnet at an appropriate position.
[0011]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems of the prior art, and its main objects are to easily attach a magnet to a rotor and to effectively suppress generation of eddy current. 【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the magnets are housed in the slots of the rotor with the plurality of magnets housed in the holding case having the partition member disposed between the magnets. Alternatively, the magnets are fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the rotor in a state where a plurality of magnets are accommodated in a holding case having a partition member. In this case, accommodation in the slot or fixing to the outer peripheral surface can be facilitated. In addition, by separating the magnets from each other by the partition member, these insulating properties can be ensured, so that the generation of eddy current can be effectively suppressed.
