Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a patient to have his/her daily health condition checked by a medical doctor in charge anywhere and anytime though it was troublesome or difficult in term of time or physically for a patient who needs checking his/her health condition regularly to often visit a medical instrument, which has difficulty in management of health to the patient who cannot visit there regularly.
SOLUTION: The system comprises: mobile communication equipment 5 which the patient holds; terminal equipment 3 and 4 on the side of the medical instrument; and a server 2 for managing patient information. The communication equipment 5 and the equipment 3 and 4 can be connected with a server 2 through a communication network. Thus, when the patient transmits his/her vital data such as body temperature, pulse rate, blood pressure measured by himself/herself to the server 2, the server 2 informs the terminal equipment 3 and 4 that the vital data of the patient is received. Then, the medical doctor in charge accesses the server 2 by using the terminal equipment 3 and 4 to check the vital data of the patient.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

The server 2 has a patient information file in which patient information such as sex, age, address, medical history, medical history, constitution, medical record, telephone number and mail address of the mobile communication device 5 is recorded for each patient. Only a user who has been provided and has registered an ID, such as the terminal 3 of the medical institution 30, performs authentication means by inputting an ID symbol, password, etc. to connect to the patient information file and to be authenticated by a doctor or a nurse. A pharmacist, a pharmacist, a caregiver, or the like can view and write patient information of a predetermined patient. And patient 50
By using the mobile communication device 5 having an authentication means, it is possible to browse only the patient's own patient information, browse the information, and write vital data. In the server 2, for example, the patient information of each patient is managed using the telephone number of the mobile communication device 5 of the patient 50 as an ID number, and the accessible range to the patient information file is restricted for each user. Be careful not to rewrite the medical records by yourself or accidentally write them in other patients' information. Further, in the server 2, it is preferable that the software can appropriately display the vital data transmitted from the patient, for example, as a graph or a table.

In this way, the medical institution 30 performs the medical service of the present invention by using the mobile communication device 5 of the patient 50, so that the items that can be measured by the medical institution 30 are the same at the time of admission regardless of where the patient 50 is. You can take care of it as well,
For example, even if it is difficult to visit a medical institution such as an elderly person living alone, a patient who is busy in daily life, or a patient who is receiving medical treatment at home, he / she can receive health management on a daily basis by a doctor in charge. it can. Therefore, in addition to alleviating the congestion of the medical institution 30, it is possible to shorten the length of hospital stay and popularize day surgery.
