2. Description of the Related Art Wood materials have been widely used as building materials, but when they are used in the state of large thin plates such as doors and walls, they are subject to repeated load, cold heat, moisture absorption, and drying.
Deformation may occur and product functionality may be significantly reduced.
Therefore, there has been a method of attaching a thin steel plate to reinforce the wood material. However, the method of attaching the steel plate has problems such as poor workability, heavy product, and rust. Therefore, there is a method of laminating and integrating fiber-reinforced composite materials as a reinforcing method which is excellent in workability and lightness and does not cause a problem of rust. In order to attach the fiber-reinforced composite material to the wood material, generally, the prepreg before molding is heated in a state of being laminated with the wood material so that the prepreg is cured and integrated with the wood material at the same time.

However, in the method of integrating with the wood material at the same time as this heat curing, since the wood material has a high heat insulating property, it takes a long time to sufficiently heat the prepreg, so that the productivity is improved. In addition, the adhesive strength to wood materials was not sufficient and there was a possibility of peeling.

The method of reinforcing a wood-based material of the present invention is to integrate a fiber-reinforced composite material that has been already heat-cured and molded into a wood-based material by using an adhesive to integrate it. Here, generally, as a technique for curing a prepreg to produce a plate or sheet of a fiber-reinforced composite material, peeling release paper from the prepreg, polypropylene,
Sandwich the prepreg with a release film such as vinyl fluoride,
Since distortion and slack will occur by itself, there is a method of sandwiching and curing via a metal plate or a method of sandwiching and curing the prepreg between metal plates coated with a release agent. However, the release film used for this is disposable and not economical. Further, since a metal plate is required as a mold material, the burden of production cost is further increased. Therefore, a method of obtaining a sheet made of a fiber-reinforced composite material by using a release paper to cure the prepreg without using a release film and a metal plate has been studied.

However, when the prepreg is cured by using the release paper, the coating components of the release paper may be transferred to the prepreg, and the sheet made of the fiber reinforced composite material obtained by curing the prepreg is used with an adhesive to make a wood-based material. Even if it adheres to the material, the adhesive strength is not sufficient, and the reinforcing material may peel off from the wood material.

The method of measuring the peeled area by the base stitch test according to JIS K5400 8.52 will be described in detail below. A wide spray (lacquer paint, manufactured by Nippe Home Products) is sprayed on the surface sheet for reinforcing the wood material to form a coating film having a thickness of 0.01 mm. On the surface sheet for reinforcing the wood material, use a ruler and a cutter knife (manufactured by NT Cutter Co., Ltd.) to draw 11 parallel lines at intervals of 1 mm in the direction in which the reinforcing fibers are aligned and in the direction orthogonal to the parallel line, and the coating film is used as a board. Make eye-shaped cuts. The cell-shaped tape ("N
o. 232 ”(manufactured by 3M Co.) (registered trademark) is adhered, and the cellophane tape is rubbed with an eraser to adhere the cellophane tape, and after waiting for 60 seconds, the cellophane tape is instantly peeled off. After visually observing the cross cuts after peeling off the cellophane tape, the residual paint on the grid is binarized by using an image processing device such as a scanner depending on whether it is white or black. Measure the area of.

The surface sheet for reinforcing wood material according to the present invention has a direction in which the reinforcing fibers of the fiber-reinforced resin composite layer are aligned with each other.
It is preferred to have reinforcing fiber layers oriented in different directions. The reinforcing fiber layer may be formed from a fiber-reinforced composite material in which reinforcing fibers such as glass fibers and carbon fibers are aligned in one direction, and glass fibers, carbon fibers, polyester fibers, and reinforcing fibers such as polypropylene fibers are used. It may be formed of a woven fabric woven using the above, a mat material in which short fibers are randomly oriented, a non-woven fabric, a cloth or paper. Among these, glass fiber woven fabric or paper is preferably used, and paper is particularly preferable. When the reinforcing fiber layer is made of paper, it can be directly used as the reinforcing fiber layer without peeling the release paper from the sheet formed by heating and curing the prepreg, which is advantageous in terms of productivity and production cost. However, as described above, when the release paper is used as the reinforcing fiber layer, the release paper containing less release paper coating component is used. By having such a reinforcing fiber layer, the strength in the width direction can also be increased.

The layer thickness ratio of the reinforcing fiber layer is preferably 3 to 40%. It is more preferably 5 to 40%. When the layer thickness ratio of the reinforcing fiber layer is less than 3%, it is insufficient to prevent the reinforcing fibers from cracking in the width direction, and when it exceeds 40%, the rigidity of the sheet is reduced and the effect of preventing longitudinal fiber warp is reduced. This is because a problem will occur. As described above, the surface sheet for reinforcing a wood material of the present invention has excellent adhesive strength with a wood material and has a stable reinforcing force for a long period of time.

The surface sheet for reinforcing wood material of the present invention can be manufactured, for example, as follows. First, a resin used for producing a prepreg is applied onto release paper using a roll coater or the like to produce a resin film. Next, the reinforcing fibers are aligned in one direction, the produced resin films are stacked, and heated and pressed to impregnate the resin to produce a prepreg. Further, when manufacturing a surface sheet for reinforcing a wood material having a reinforcing fiber layer, the paper integrated with the resin film (release paper) may be used as it is as the reinforcing fiber layer without being peeled off. When the prepreg is wound up, a glass fiber woven fabric or the like may be attached to both surfaces or one surface of the prepreg when the prepreg is wound.

A prepreg manufactured as described above,
Alternatively, a laminate comprising a prepreg and a reinforcing fiber layer is cut into a predetermined length, heated and cured to obtain a wood material-reinforced surface sheet having a fiber-reinforced resin composite layer.
At this time, a release paper is placed between the prepreg or a laminate composed of the prepreg and the reinforcing fiber layer and heated and cured to simultaneously produce a large number of surface materials for reinforcing a wood material. However, the release paper used at this time is not used as a reinforcing fiber layer, but is used to prevent the adhesion between the surface sheets for reinforcing the wood material or the wood material reinforcing surface sheet, which is a molded product, and the molding. After that, since the release paper is peeled off, it is necessary to select a release paper that has adhesiveness to the wood material and can be peeled off.

FIG. 1 shows a method in which a release paper 11 is placed on a laminate 10 composed of a prepreg 10a and a reinforcing fiber layer, and a large number of them are simultaneously produced by heating and curing. For example, after laminating the laminated body 10 formed of the prepreg 10a and the glass fiber woven fabric 10b cut into a predetermined length on the steel plate base 30 on which the seal rib 31 is formed via the release paper 11, It is covered with a partition material 20. The periphery of the partition wall member 20 is sealed and sealed by a frame-shaped fixed frame 32. Then, the inside of the partition wall member 20 is decompressed by vacuum suction from the exhaust port 33 provided in the steel plate base 30, and then pressure and heat are applied from the outside to mold. Examples of the molding method include a press, an oven and an autoclave molding method. Thus, the prepreg 10a and the glass fiber woven fabric 1
0b and integral curing, the release paper 11 provided between the respective wood material reinforcing surface sheets is peeled off, and a plurality of wood material reinforcing surface sheets can be obtained by one molding.

Further, as described above, the release paper 11 may be peeled off from the wood material reinforcing surface sheet, but the release paper itself may be impregnated with the resin of the prepreg to be integrated with the wood material reinforcing surface sheet. You can also However, when stacking the wood material reinforcing surface sheets in multiple stages in one molding and curing and molding, it is necessary to use release paper properly so that the wood material reinforcing surface sheets do not stick to each other. According to the manufacturing method of the present invention, it is possible to suppress the production cost because the conventionally used disposable release film and metal plate are not required.

The method for reinforcing a wood material according to the present invention is applied to one side of a surface material for reinforcing wood material, which has a peeling area of 50% or less in a cross-cut test according to JIS K5400 8.52, manufactured as described above. An adhesive is applied, and the adhesive is fixed to the wood material by pressure bonding and adhesion to the wood material. Examples of the adhesive used include polyester resins, polyurethane resins, vinyl ester resins, and epoxy resin adhesives, and include film-like, gel-like, and sheet-like forms. According to such a reinforcing method, since it has excellent adhesion to the wood material, there is no fear of peeling off. In addition, since it is fixed to the wood material using an adhesive, it is possible to save the time required for integrally hardening the wood material and the reinforcing material as in the conventional case, and the productivity is improved. In addition, the wooden material reinforced by the above-described reinforcing method is lightweight, has high rigidity, and is resistant to deformation over time, and is therefore suitable as a building material for doors, walls, and the like.

The obtained wood material reinforcing surface sheet had a thickness of about 0.15 mm, and in order to evaluate the adhesiveness of the wood material reinforcing surface sheet, a wide spray (lacquer paint, Nippe Home Products) was applied to the surface. (Made by the company)
Was sprayed to form a coating film having a thickness of 0.01 mm. And, regarding this coating film, the above-mentioned JIS
The peeled area was measured according to the cross-cut test method of K5400 8.52. As a result, when the cross-shaped cuts were observed, it was confirmed that the residual paint in the open cells was about 55%. From these results, it was revealed that the surface sheet for reinforcing a wood material obtained in the example has an excellent adhesive force to the wood material and a stable reinforcing power for a long period of time.
