SOLUTION: The air passage connecting the suction port 2 and the blow-off port 3 is provided with a heat exchanger 10 bent into the approximately inverted triangular shape, and composed of a vertical part 10a, a rear inclined part 10b formed by backwardly bending and inclining an upper end of the vertical part 10a, and a lower inclined part 10c formed by bending and downwardly inclining a rear end of the rear inclined part 10b, and a blower fan 11. An ozone generating part 12 generating the ozone for sterilization and deodorization is mounted on the windward of the heat exchanger 10. The blow-off port 3 is closed by a vertical wind direction board 5, the suction port 2 of a front upper part is closed by opening and closing louvers 7, 8 of an upper position and a lower position, and the blower fan 11 is reversely rotated for a predetermined time when the sterilizing and deodorizing operation is performed.

When performing the operation for disinfecting and deodorizing the air passage in which the heat exchanger 10 and the like are arranged, by rotating the blower fan 11 in the reverse direction, the air shown by the broken line in FIG. Like a flow, the ozone generated from the ozone generator 12 passes through the rearwardly inclined portion 10b of the heat exchanger 10 and is guided to the outlet 3 via the blower fan 11.

However, the vertical airflow direction plate 5 is rotated to open the air outlet 3, and although not shown, the vertical portion 10a of the heat exchanger 10 is provided below the suction port 2 at the upper portion of the front surface.
Even if an air guide path for guiding the air is provided, the heat exchanger 10 does not pass ozone generated from the ozone generator 12 at a location other than the rearwardly inclined portion 10b, particularly the downwardly inclined portion 10c. There is a problem in that the effect of sterilization and deodorization at the location becomes insufficient.

More specifically, after the reverse rotation is continued for a predetermined time, the blower fan 11 is stopped, so that
As shown in (B), since the ozone generated from the ozone generator 12 can be filled in the lower portion of the air passage surrounded by the broken line, for example, the blower fan 11 can be reversely rotated for about 5 seconds. Thus, as described above, the ozone generated from the ozone generator 12 is circulated throughout the main body of the air conditioner, and then, for example, the blower fan 11 is stopped for about 60 seconds. Since the lower part of the air passage can be filled with the ozone, the blower fan 11
By re-rotating the above-mentioned again, the filled ozone can be effectively circulated throughout the inside of the main body of the air conditioner.

That is, by repeating the operation (operating mode) in which the blower fan 11 is reversely rotated for about 5 seconds and then stopped for about 60 seconds in this manner, the ozone generated from the ozone generator 12 is generated. By repeating the circulation to every corner, the sterilization and deodorization of the entire inside of the main body of the air conditioner can be performed more effectively without causing unevenness.

The time for rotating the blower fan 11 in the reverse direction is about 5 seconds, and the time for stopping it is about 60 seconds,
By repeating these operations (operation modes) a plurality of times, as shown in FIG.
When 12 is installed along the vertical portion 10a of the heat exchanger 10, the ozone generated from the ozone generating portion 12 is supplied to the rear inclined portion 10b of the heat exchanger 10, the downward inclined portion 10c, and the blower fan. While sequentially passing through 11 and the vertical portion 10a, the air conditioner can be efficiently and sufficiently distributed throughout the entire main body of the air conditioner without requiring a long time.

1. A base and a front surface of the base,
A front panel having an inlet on the upper and upper surfaces of the front and an outlet on the lower part of the front, and a vertical panel pivotally supported on the outlet to open and close the outlet and deflect the vertical wind direction. A wind direction plate, a filter detachably attached to the front upper suction port, and upper and lower open / close louvers that are rotatably attached to the front panel and open and close the front upper suction port. A front grill provided with the air passage, which is provided in an air passage connecting the suction port and the air outlet, has a vertical portion, a rear inclined portion formed by bending an upper end of the vertical portion and inclined rearward, and the rear inclined portion. A heat exchanger bent in a substantially V-shaped reverse shape by a downward slanted portion that is bent at the rear end and is slanted downward, and the air that has been heat-exchanged by the heat exchanger is sent to the air outlet. It is provided on the windward side of the blower fan and the heat exchanger to remove bacteria and deodorize. And an ozone generator for generating ozone, and when performing a sterilization and deodorization operation, the upper and lower wind direction plates close the outlet, and the upper and lower opening and closing louvers close the front upper suction port. An air conditioner characterized in that the blower fan is reversely rotated for a predetermined time.
