In order to obtain an adhesive property (paste quality) suitable for the purpose, for example, in the case of an acrylic adhesive, the adhesive property can be adjusted by selecting the monomer composition or the tackifying resin used in combination. This is mainly done, and in the case of rubber type, the adhesion property is adjusted by selecting the type of elastomer and the tackifying resin. In particular, in the case of adhesive tapes used in fields requiring a curing process, even if the adhesive properties of the adhesive layer change under heating conditions in the curing process, peel off the adhesive tape after the curing process is completed. It is necessary to adjust the adhesive property of the adhesive layer so that

However, in the adjusting operation of the adhesive property as described above, it is possible to make an adjustment satisfying a single function such as strong adhesiveness, low adhesiveness and re-peeling, but like the curing tape. During the period when it is required to have a characteristic (low tack or low tackiness) that makes it easy to perform the bonding work such as the correction of the bonding position when it is bonded to the surface to be bonded and the role as a curing tape is required. Is required to have a property of being firmly adhered (strong tackiness) and capable of being easily peeled off when peeled off after completion of the curing step (removability). For more multifunctional adhesive tapes,
In order to impart a flame-retardant or conductive function to the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, the flame-retardant filler and conductive particles must be mixed in a large amount in the pressure-sensitive adhesive, in the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer of the single-layer structure, There is also a problem that the adhesive strength of the adhesive layer is reduced, and it is difficult to obtain desired adhesive properties.

The above-mentioned elastomer component may be vulcanized with a vulcanizing agent such as a peroxide, a reactive phenol resin, a sulfur compound such as sulfur or thiuram, or a vulcanizing agent such as maleimide, as in the case of the acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. . It is preferable to use it after crosslinking or vulcanization, although it is preferable for re-peeling applications and applications requiring heat-resistant creep resistance, but if used too much, it will hinder the movement of the tackifying resin between the inner pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the outer pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. There are cases.

Each pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is not limited to the same type of pressure-sensitive adhesive system in which the amount of the tackifying resin is changed, and another type of pressure-sensitive adhesive system may be used. For example, the inner pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive and the outer pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive, and the inner pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has an elastomer ratio of natural rubber / SBR = 80/20, while the outer pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has an outer pressure-sensitive adhesive. The case where the elastomer of the agent layer has a ratio of natural rubber / SBR = 50/50 is included.

Thickness of the inner pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the outer pressure-sensitive adhesive layer
(Coating mass) is not particularly limited, but when the outer adhesive layer is thin and the inner adhesive layer is thick, the adhesive properties of the inner adhesive layer are strongly reflected, and conversely, the outer adhesive layer is thick. When the inner pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is thin, the influence of the interlayer movement of the tackifying resin of the inner pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to the outer pressure-sensitive adhesive layer decreases. Generally, the thickness of the outer pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is preferably 2 to 100 μm, more preferably 5 to 50 μm, and the thickness of the inner pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is about 10 to 200 μm, preferably 3
It is 0 to 60 μm.

The initial adhesive properties of the double-sided or single-sided adhesive tape of the present invention depend on the formulation of the outer adhesive layer, and generally the addition of the tackifying resin of the outer adhesive layer to the acrylic copolymer or the rubber elastomer. When the ratio is large, the tackiness is high, but the tack (initial adhesion) is low. Conversely, when the ratio of the tackifying resin in the outer pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is low,
Although the adhesive strength is relatively low, it exhibits high tack, and initial adhesion to an adherend is often preferred. Therefore, when it is necessary to correct the attachment position such as masking tape, make the ratio of the tackifying resin in the outer adhesive layer higher than the ratio of the tackifying resin in the inner adhesive layer to improve the initial adhesiveness. When using it for a double-sided tape that fixes a rough surface, an uneven surface, or a carpet that is difficult to stick to, lower the ratio of the tackifying resin in the outer pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to reduce the tack (initial adhesion). Can be set higher.

Further, if the addition ratio of the tackifying resin of the inner pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to the acrylic copolymer or the rubber-based elastomer is made higher than the addition ratio of the tackifying resin of the outer pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, the tackiness due to heat treatment or change with time The transfer of the applied resin to the outer pressure-sensitive adhesive layer greatly increases the adhesive force, and changes to a paste quality suitable for permanent adhesive applications such as various double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes. In the case of the reverse addition ratio, for example, the tackifying resin migrates to the inner pressure-sensitive adhesive layer due to heat treatment such as a masking step or aging, and the tackiness of the outer pressure-sensitive adhesive layer exhibiting substantial pressure-sensitive properties is reduced, which is easy. You can peel it off.

In addition to the tackifying resin, when flame-retardant fillers or conductive particles are mixed with the pressure-sensitive adhesive, a large amount is mixed with the inner pressure-sensitive adhesive and a small amount is mixed with the outer pressure-sensitive adhesive or not mixed. When applied to, an adhesive tape having both high flame retardancy and conductivity and high adhesive strength can be produced. In this case, if the coating amount of the inner pressure-sensitive adhesive is increased and the coating amount of the outer pressure-sensitive adhesive is reduced, flame retardancy and conductivity can be further increased,
By controlling the ratio of the tackifying resin amounts of the inner pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the outer pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, it is possible to control the pressure-sensitive adhesive properties at the same time.

The method for producing the double-sided tape of the present invention is also not particularly limited. For example, the inner pressure-sensitive adhesive and the outer pressure-sensitive adhesive are applied and dried in the same manner as the single-sided tape, and then the outer pressure-sensitive adhesive surface is coated. By attaching a separator that has been subjected to release treatment on both sides and winding it once, apply the inner pressure-sensitive adhesive and the outer pressure-sensitive adhesive to the base material surface not coated with the pressure-sensitive adhesive in the same manner, dry it, and wind it up. Can be made. The double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape having three pressure-sensitive adhesive layers shown in FIG. 2 is obtained by impregnating a non-woven fabric or cloth with an inner pressure-sensitive adhesive and drying it with a dip coater, and then applying a separator subjected to double-sided release treatment. It can be obtained by winding together and once winding, and then peeling off the separator and dipping the outer pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to apply the adhesive to both sides, and then laminating and winding the separator subjected to the double-side treatment.

As described above, the adhesive tape of the present invention is
It has the property that the tackifying resin migrates between both the inner and outer pressure-sensitive adhesive layers, and the adhesive layer is different when it is attached to the adherend and when it is attached or peeled. It can be seen that the quality has changed and the adhesive strength has changed. In this way, since it is possible to utilize that the adhesive properties of the adhesive layer change under the conditions of use, it is necessary to have strong adhesiveness such as a masking tape used for a part having a shape that is difficult to attach, Tack (initial adhesion), such as tapes used for applications that require re-peeling, or double-sided tapes that are used on difficult-to-apply locations such as rough or uneven surfaces. It is extremely useful as a double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape or the like that is required to have both strong adhesive strength.
