Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the manufacturing efficiency of a coil. SOLUTION: The bobbin B of the coil is split into first and second split bobbins 10 and 20 and the split bobbins 10 and 20 are integrated by putting the second split bobbin 20 on the attaching section 12 of the first split bobbin 10. In the manufacturing procedure of the coil, the bobbin B is formed by uniting the second split bobbin 20 with the first split bobbin 10 after the work for winding windings 30 and 31 around the split bobbins 10 and 20 and another work for connecting the end sections of the windings 30 and 31 to terminal fittings 40 and 41 are performed in parallel. Then, the external body 50 of the bobbin B is formed by molding.

A positioning projection 22 that can be fitted into the positioning recess 15 is provided so as to project along the axial direction of the main body 21.
By fitting the positioning projection 22 into the positioning recess 15, the second split bobbin 20 is positioned in the regular mounting position in the circumferential direction with respect to the first split bobbin 10. The lower ends of the terminal fittings 41 can be press-fitted from the outside in the radial direction to both ends of the positioning convex portion 22 (positions where the terminal fittings 40 of the first split bobbin 10 are provided in the center). A pair of press-fitting groove portions 23 are formed. A support portion 24 that surrounds the terminal fitting 41 is provided on the peripheral edge of both press-fitting groove portions 23 so as to project radially outward.
The hook portions 45 of both the terminal fittings 41 are both formed in a hook shape projecting to the left side (the winding 31 side of the second split bobbin 20) in FIG. 6, and the hook portions 45 are wound around the second split bobbin 20. Both ends of the wound winding 31 are hooked and weldable by welding. The second split bobbin 2

Next, a procedure for manufacturing the coil device will be described.
As shown in FIG. 4, after winding the winding wire 30 around the main body portion 11 of the first split bobbin 10, both ends of the wound winding wire 30 are pulled out to the outside in the radial direction, and the both ends are both terminal fittings. While being hooked on the hook portions 44 of 40, welding connection is made by welding. In parallel with these operations, as shown in FIG. 6, the winding wire 31 is wound around the main body portion 21 of the second split bobbin 20, and then both end portions of the winding wire 31 are similarly hooked on the terminal fittings 41. The work of hooking on each of 45 and welding and connecting is performed. Thus, the first split bobbin 10
Also, the winding work of the winding wires 30 and 31 of the second split bobbin 20 and the connecting work of the terminal fittings 40 and 41 are simultaneously performed.

The first split bobbin 10 is externally fitted to the mounting portion 12 of the second split bobbin 20 while maintaining 0 in a posture in which their axes are parallel to each other. At this time, if both bobbins 10 and 20 are displaced from the regular mounting position in the circumferential direction, the positioning protrusion 22 abuts the overhanging portion 14 and the mounting operation thereof is restricted. The fitting operation is performed while the bobbins 10 and 20 are relatively displaced in the circumferential direction so as to be aligned with 15. Then, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, when both bobbins 10 and 20 are properly attached, the positioning protrusion 22 fits into the positioning recess 15 so that both bobbins 10 and 20 are held in the rotation-stopped state. Furthermore, since the four terminal fittings 40 and 41 are collectively arranged in a part of the bobbin B, and the surroundings are surrounded by the connector housing portion 51 to form a connector, the conventional structure is realized. Space saving can be achieved as compared with the electric wire lead-out portion required when the electric wire is led out from the outer casing. In addition, the windings 30 and 31 and the terminal fittings 40 and 41 are previously prepared.
Since the terminal fittings 40 and 41 are integrated by joining both bobbins 10 and 20 after performing the connecting work with, compared with the case where the connecting work is performed in a state where all the terminal fittings are integrated, Workability of connection work is improved.

<Other Embodiments> The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above and illustrated in the drawings. For example, the following embodiments are also included in the technical scope of the present invention. In addition to the above, various modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the invention. (1) In the above-described embodiment, the case where the bobbin is divided into two is shown. However, for example, when there are three types of windings,
The bobbin may be divided into three, or the bobbin may be divided into four or more as needed.

(2) In the above-described embodiment, the case where the terminal fitting is a male type having tabs is shown, but the present invention is also applicable to a female terminal fitting. (3) In the above-described embodiment, the winding is connected to the terminal fitting fixed to the bobbin, but the electric wire connected to the external circuit may be directly connected to the winding as in the conventional case. Of course, such is also included in the present invention.
