造は、その接続すべき両管の先端部の外径とガスケット
の内径とに差のない状態あるいはガスケットの内径が僅

構造は、管の先端をガスケットに挿し込むときに、当該
挿し込まれる管の先端の縁によってガスケットの内面に
視認できない小さな挿し込み傷をつくってしまうことが
往々にあり、組立完了後の試運転、あるいは初期運転時
等でこれを検査発見されることが比較的多いのが現状で

係止タイプの管抜止め手段形式は、接続すべき両管に転
造溝を形成するための専用のロールドグルーブマシンが
必要であり、転造溝を配管施工の現場合わせで得ている
のが殆どである。 【0006】 【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明は、上記現状に
鑑み、管の先端をガスケットに挿し込むときに、当該挿
し込まれる管の先端縁によってガスケットの内面に視認
できない小さな挿し込み傷をつくらないようにするの工
夫を施した新規のハウジング型管継手の構造を提供する
ことを目的とするものである。 【0007】 【課題を解決するための手段】上記目的を達成するため
に本発明に係るハウジング型管継手の構造は、接続すべ
き両管の端部外周面にわたるリング状のガスケットと、
このガスケットを抱持する状態で互いに連結固定される
一対のハウジングとを備えたハウジング型管継手に関
し、接続すべき両管の先端の外周面を先端縁に向うに従
って徐々に細くし且つ当該先端縁の外径をガスケットの
内径より細くして成ることを特徴とするものである。 【0008】 【実施例】以下、本発明の実施例を図面に基づいて説明
する。すなわち、このハウジング型管継手構造は、接続
すべき両管1,2の端部外面にわたるリング状のガスケ
ット3と、このガスケット3を抱持する状態で互いに連

7がやゝ突出する状態に嵌入する凹溝13を設けて構成

合抱持させるように、上記一対のハウジング4,5の両
端のフランジ11を互いに重ね合わせると共にこのハウ

面を先端縁14に向うに従って徐々に細くし且つ当該先
端縁14の外径をガスケット3の内径より細くしたもの

溝16をもつ接続すべき両管1,2の先端の外周面15
を、先端縁14に向うに従って徐々に細くしたものであ
り、また図3に示す第2実施例は、管の外周面にリング
状の係止部材17が止着されたリングタイプの管抜止め
手段をもつ接続すべき両管1,2の先端の外周面15
を、先端縁14に向うに従って徐々に細くしたものであ
り、また図4に示す第3実施例は、専用のロールドグル
ーブマシン(図示せず)による転造溝16をもつ接続す
べき両管1,2の先端縁を面取りして外周面15を徐々
に細くしたものである。 【0014】通常、接続すべき両管の先端の外周面を先
端縁に向うに従って徐々に細くする作業は、例えばロー
ルドグルーブマシン(図示せず)に、転造溝形成ジグと

外周面を先端縁に向うに従って徐々に細くし且つ当該先
端縁の外径をガスケットの内径より細くして成るので、
管の先端をガスケットに挿し込むときには、当該挿し込
まれる管の先端の縁によってガスケットの内面に視認で
きないような小さな挿し込み傷をつくってしまうことが
なく、組立完了後の試運転、あるいは初期運転時等でこ
れを検査発見されることがなく(尚、実験では検査発見
されることが稀にあったがいずれも挿し込む操作以外の
原因もしくは操作ミスによるものであった。)、所期の
目的を完全に達成する著効を有するものであリ、しか
も、接続すべき両管の先端の外周面を先端縁に向うに従
って徐々に細くする作業は、例えばロールドグルーブマ
シン(図示せず)による転造溝の形成工程と一緒に一挙
に効率よくなすことができて作業性もよく、その効果は
著大である。
