Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.船舶用ディーゼルエンジン用のポリブテンを含まない潤滑剤組成物であって 、多量の潤滑粘性油及び混合して供給される少量の下記成分: a)ホウ酸塩分散剤又は油溶性又は油分散性ホウ素化合物の少なくとも1種; 及び b)各々のTBNが少なくとも300である1種以上の過塩基性金属化合物(但し、 過塩基性金属サリチル酸塩が存在する場合には、前記サリチル酸塩の該TBNは 少なくとも200、好ましくは少なくとも250、例えば、265である。) を含み、該組成物の該TBNが少なくとも10、例えば、少なくとも20であり、該 組成物の粘度指奴が少なくとも90、好ましくは少なくとも100、更に好ましく は105である、前記組成物。 2.該組成物の該TBNが少なくとも40、好ましくは60〜100の範囲である、請求項 1記載の組成物。 3.粘度指数が少なくとも115、好ましくは少なくとも120である、請求項1又は 2記載の組成物。 4.該過塩基性金属化合物の各々の該TBNが少なくとも330、好ましくは少なくと も400、更に好ましくは400〜600の範囲である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項 に記載の組成物。 5.該組成物のホウ素含量が少なくとも0.001質量%、好ましくは少なくとも0.0 1質量%、更に好ましくは0.01〜1.0質量%、最も好ましくは0.01〜0.5質量% 、例えば、0.01〜0.1質量%である、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の組 成物。 6.該組成物の100℃における動粘度が少なくとも14センチストーク、好ましく は少なくとも15センチストーク、更に好ましくは17〜30センチストーク、例え ば、17〜25センチストークの範囲である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載 の組成物。 7.100℃における動粘度が28〜36センチストークの第2潤滑油が該組成物の質 量に対して30質量%未満、好ましくは20質量%未満、更に好ましくは15質量% 未満、例えば、5質量%未満の割合で存在する、請求項1〜6のいずれか 1項に記載の組成物。 8.該過塩基性金属化合物の少なくとも1種が過塩基性カルシウム化合物である 、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。 9.該過塩基性金属化合物の少なくとも1種が、TBNが少なくとも300、好ましく は少なくとも330、更に好ましくは少なくとも400でありかつ少なくとも2種の 界面活性剤から誘導された界面活性剤系を含むカルシウム過塩基性清浄剤であ る、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。 10.少なくとも2種の過塩基性金属化合物が存在し、一方の過塩基性金属化合物 と他方の過塩基性金属化合物の質量/質量比が5:95〜95:5の範囲である、請求 項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。 11.質量/質量比が20:80〜80:20、好ましくは70:30〜30:70、更に好ましくは60: 40〜40:60の範囲である、請求項10記載の組成物。 12.船舶用ディーゼルエンジン用のポリブテンを含まない添加剤濃縮物であって 、下記成分: a)ホウ酸塩分散剤又は油溶性又は油分散性ホウ素化合物の少なくとも1種; 及び b)各々のTBNが少なくとも300である1種以上の過塩基性金属化合物(但し、 過塩基性金属サリチル酸塩が存在する場合には、前記サリチル酸塩の該TBNは 少なくとも200、好ましくは少なくとも250、例えは、265である。) の混合して供給される油溶液を含み、a)とb)の割合が、ポリブテンを含まない 潤滑剤組成物が該濃縮物組成物から製造される場合に、該潤滑剤組成物のTBN が少なくとも10、例えば、少なくとも20であり、該潤滑剤組成物の粘度指数が 少なくとも90、好ましくは少なくとも100、更に好ましくは少なくとも105であ るような割合である、前記濃縮物。 13.船舶用ディーゼルエンジン用潤滑剤組成物の粘度指数を少なくとも90である ように高めかつTBNが少なくとも10である該組成物を得るための添加剤a)及びb )の使用であって、 a)がホウ酸塩分散剤又は油溶性又は油分散性ホウ素化合物の少なくとも1種で あり; b)が各々のTBNが少なくとも300である1種以上の過塩基性金属化合物である( 但し、過塩基性金属サリチル酸塩が存在する場合には、前記サリチル酸塩の該 TBNは少なくとも200、好ましくは少なくとも250、例えば、少なくとも265であ る。)、 前記使用。 14.船舶用ディーゼルエンジン用の潤滑剤組成物の粘度指数を少なくとも90であ るように高めかつTBNが少なくとも10である該組成物を得る方法であって、該 組成物中に実質的にポリブテンを含まない添加剤a)及びb)を含み、 a)がホウ酸塩分散剤又は油溶性又は油分散性ホウ素化合物の少なくとも1種で あり; b)が各々のTBNが少なくとも300である1種以上の過塩基性金属化合物である( 但し、過塩基性金属サリチル酸塩が存在する場合には、前記サリチル酸塩の該 TBNは少なくとも200、好ましくは少なくとも250、例えば、少なくとも265であ る。) ことを特徴とする、前記方法。 15.船舶用ディーゼルエンジンを潤滑する方法であって、該エンジンに請求項1 〜11のいずれか1項に記載の潤滑剤組成物を供給する工程を含む、前記方法。
