Abstract

Una composición lubricante libre de polibuteno para motores diesel marinos que comprende una cantidad más importante de aceite de viscosidad lubricante y, provisto mediante mezcla con el mismo, cantidades más pequeñas de a) al menos uno de un dispersante borado o un compuesto de boro soluble en aceite o dispersable en aceite; y b) uno o más compuestos de metal hiperbásicos teniendo el o cada compuesto un TBN de al menos 300, con la condición de que si está presente un salicilato de metal hiperbásico entonces el TBN de dicho salicilato es al menos 200, preferiblemente al menos 250, tal como al menos 265; en la que el TBN de la composición es al menos 10, tal como al menos 20 y el índice de viscosidad de la composición es al menos 90, preferiblemente al menos 100, más preferiblemente al menos 105, y la composición contiene menos de 15, preferiblemente menos de 10, más preferiblemente menos de 5 %, en peso de aceite base pesado de elevada viscosidad basado en el peso de la composición.
