Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 車軸組立体を冷却する装置において、 内部に第1流体を含むチャンバー(26)を形成するハウジング(12)、 前記チャンバー(26)内に配置された差動組立体、 前記チャンバー(26)内に位置し、前記差動組立体と前記ハウジング(12)の間 で前記差動組立体の周りに配置された複数の冷却チューブ(42)、及び、 前記複数の冷却チューブ(42)と流体接続する流体源を備え、(1)前記流体源 により推進される第2流体が前記複数の冷却チューブ(42)を通って進み、(2) 前記ハウジング(12)内に位置する前記第1流体は前記複数の冷却チューブ(42) を通って進む第2流体とは混合せず、 前記複数の冷却チューブ(42)は、各々が独立に前記流体源から前記第2流体 を受取る複数の流入チューブ(52)と、各々が前記ハウジング(12)から前記第2 流体を出す、前記流入チューブ(52)と分離した複数の流出チューブ(56)とを備 えることを特徴とする装置。 2. 請求の範囲第1項に記載した装置であって、 前記第1流体は、前記チャンバー(26)内に流体プールを形成し、 前記複数の冷却チューブ(42)は、ほぼC形の構成に共に固定され、その下部 は前記流体プール内に位置する装置。 3. 請求の範囲第1項に記載した装置であって、 前記複数の冷却チューブ(42)はカプラー(58)を備え、 前記カプラー(58)は、前記複数の流入チューブ(52)及び前記複数の流出チュ ーブ(56)と流体接続される装置。 4. 請求の範囲第3項に記載した装置であって、 前記ハウジング(12)は流入開口部(86)と流出開口部(88)を備え、 前記カプラー(58)は、流入孔(64)と流出孔(66)を備え、 前記カプラー(58)の前記流入孔(64)は、前記ハウジング(12)の前記流入開口 部(86)と流体接続され、 前記カプラー(58)の前記流出孔(66)は、前記ハウジング(12)の前記流出開口 部(88)と流体接続される装置。 5. 請求の範囲第1項に記載した装置であって、 前記複数の流入チューブ(52)の第1流入チューブと第2流入チューブがそれ らの間に前記第1流体により占められる第1空間(115)を形成し、 前記複数の流出チューブ(56)の第1流出チューブと第2流出チューブがそれ らの間に前記第1流体により占められる第2空間を形成する装置。 6. 請求の範囲第1項に記載した装置であって、前記流体源は前記チャンバー(2 6)の外に位置する装置。 7. 請求の範囲第1項に記載した装置であって、前記第1流体はオイルを含有し 、前記第2流体はオイルを含有する装置。 8. 請求の範囲第1項に記載した装置であって、前記導管(42)と前記ハウジング (12)の内壁(27)の間に空間(45)が形成される装置。 9. 車軸組立体を冷却する方法において、 内部に第1流体を含むチャンバー(26)を形成するハウジング(12)を設け、前 記第1流体は前記チャンバー(26)内に流体プールを形成し、 前記チャンバー(26)内に差動組立体を配置し、 複数の冷却チューブ(42)を前記ハウジング(12)内で前記流体プールに入った 前記差動組立体の周りの位置に配置し、 前記複数の冷却チューブ(42)は、第2流体を受取る複数の流入チューブ(52) と、前記第2流体を出す複数の流出チューブ(56)とを備え、 前記流入チューブ(52)と流出チューブ(56)を通って前記冷却チューブ(42)の 各々の中に前記第2流体を同時に進ませ、前記流出チューブ(56)から前記第2 流体を排出し、前記ハウジング(12)内に位置する前記第1流体は、前記第2冷 却チューブ(42)を通って進められる前記第2流体とは混合しないことを特徴と する方法。
