Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector of the type incorporating electronic parts capable of dealing with automated manufacture. SOLUTION: A storage recess part 12 is provided in the upper surface of a thick plate-shaped connector housing 11 and a pair of pressure welded terminals 15 each comprising three pairs of pressure welded blade sets 18 aligned are mounted on both sides of the storage recess part. First, a capacitor 24 is inserted into the center portion of the storage recess part 12 and both lead wires 26 are pressed against the front pair of pressure welded blade sets 18 and then a resistance 23 is inserted to fit over the capacitor 24, with both lead wires 25 pressed against the center pair of pressure welded blade sets 18. A portion of a wire L is cut and both cut ends thereof are peeled to expose a conductor 20. The portions of the conductor 20 at both cut ends are pressed against the opposite pair of pressure welded blade sets 18. Finally, a cover 40 is put over the upper surface of the connector housing 11. Thus, the resistance 23 and the capacitor 24 are connected in parallel with the portion of the wire L via the pressure welded terminals 15.

However, in the prior art, a step of soldering the lead wires 5 of the electronic components 2 and 3 to the terminal fitting 1 is required, and in such a case, positioning is difficult, so that automation is required. However, there is a problem that the production cost is high. Also, electronic components 2 and 3
It is necessary to apply a resin mold in order to hold and protect the electronic component at a fixed position in the housing 4, so that it is a so-called integrated exclusive type. However, there is a problem that the entire connector needs to be replaced. The present invention has been completed to eliminate the above disadvantages.

<Invention of Claim 1> The ends of individual electric wires are respectively pressed against one pair of press contact blades, while the other pair of press contact blades are accommodated in a receiving portion. The lead wires at both ends of the electronic component are pressed into contact, and then the cover is put on. Thus, the electronic component is interposed between the electric wires, and the electronic component and the press-contact portion are protected by the cover. Since the pressure welding blade is used to assemble the electric wires and electronic components, and the soldering work is eliminated, it is easy to cope with the automation of the assembling work, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced. Also, if you want to change the capacity of electronic parts,
It is sufficient to replace only electronic components, and it can be widely applied.

When the cover 40 is attached, the electric wire L, the resistor 23 and the capacitor
Lead wires 25 and 26 are held in the escape grooves 30 by the frame portions before and after the frame-shaped rib 41 and escaped. In addition, the press contact portions of the core wire 20 of the electric wire L and the lead wires 25 and 26 are pressed by the press ribs 43 at three places sandwiching both the press contact blades 17 to prevent the core wire 20 and the lead wires 25 and 26 from rising. . As a result, the resistor 23 and the capacitor 24 are connected in parallel with each other via the press contact terminal 15 in the middle of the predetermined electric wire L drawn from the connector C. When it is desired to use a different kind of resistor 23 or capacitor 24 having a different capacity or the like, after removing the cover 40, a new resistor 23 or capacitor 24 may be pressed again to the corresponding pressure contact blade set 18.

<Second Embodiment> FIGS. 8 to 13 show a second embodiment of the present invention. The second embodiment exemplifies a connector 10A having a reduced height as compared with the connector 10 of the first embodiment. Hereinafter, different points from the first embodiment will be mainly described, and the same functions will be described. The same reference numerals are given to the portions having, and the duplicate description will be omitted.
As shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, the connector housing 11A has a wider width than that of the first embodiment, but is formed to be thinner. It is formed over. The mounting position of the press contact terminal 15 is set at a position near the end on the opposite side of FIG. 8 on both front and rear sides of the housing recess 12A. One cover 40A has a shape with a wide width and a small depth in accordance with the shape change of the connector housing 11A. Further, as shown in FIGS. 11 and 12, the shapes of the frame-shaped rib 41A and the partition rib 42A are changed.

That is, in the second embodiment, a shallow but wide accommodating recess 12A is used, and as shown in FIG.
The capacitor 24 is placed in the area on the near side of the housing recess 12A, the lead wires 26 on both sides are pressed against the foremost press-contact blade set 18 of the two press-contact terminals 15 in FIG. The lead wires 25 at both ends are placed next to each other, and are pressed into contact with the central press-contact blade set 18 and assembled. This is a structure in which a shallow cover 40A is attached to a thin connector housing 11A, and as shown in FIG. 13, the height of the connector 10A is reduced.

<Other Embodiments> The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above and illustrated in the drawings. For example, the following embodiments are also included in the technical scope of the present invention. In addition, various changes can be made without departing from the scope of the invention. (1) As the electronic component, a diode or the like can be applied in addition to the resistor and the capacitor exemplified in the above embodiment. (2) When the terminal of the electric wire is pressed against the press-contact blade, a form in which the core wire is brought into contact with the press-contact groove while pushing the entire coating into the press-contact blade to break the cover may be adopted.
