Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.(a)配列番号:2および配列番号:4に示しているアミノ酸配列を含むタ ンパク質をコードする核酸分子と、 (b)配列番号:1に示しているヌクレオチド配列または対応するリボヌクレオチ ド配列を含む核酸分子と、 (c)配列番号:3に示しているヌクレオチド配列または対応するリボヌクレオチ ド配列を含む核酸分子と、 (d)フルクトース単量体間のβ-2,1-グリコシド結合またはβ-2,6-グリコシド 結合の形成を触媒することが可能なタンパク質をコードする(a)から(c)に記 載の核酸分子の断片を含む核酸分子とからなる群より選択される、スクロース依 存性スクロース・フルクトシルトランスフェラーゼ(SST)をコードする核酸分 子。 2.DNA分子である、請求項1記載の核酸分子。 3.cDNA分子である、請求項2記載のDNA分子。 4.RNA分子である、請求項1記載の核酸分子。 5.請求項1から4のいずれか一項記載の核酸分子を含むベクター。 6.原核細胞および/または真核細胞における翻訳可能RNAの転写および合成 を可能にする調節要素に核酸分子が機能的に結合されている、請求項5記載のベ クター。 7.調節要素がpatatin B33プロモーターに由来している、請求項6記載のベ クター。 8.請求項1から4のいずれか一項記載の核酸分子または請求項6もしくは7 記載のベクターにより形質転換された宿主細胞、または該細胞に由来する宿主細 胞。 9.請求項8記載の宿主細胞をSSTの合成が可能な条件下で培養し、SSTを培養 細胞および/または培地から単離する、SST製造法。 10.請求項1から4のいずれか一項記載の核酸分子によりコードされた、ま たは請求項9記載の方法により製造されたSST。 11.チョウセンアザミ由来のSSTをコードする核酸分子が植物細胞における 翻訳可能mRNAの転写を可能にする調節要素により制御されている、請求項1から 4 のいずれか一項記載の核酸分子または請求項6もしくは7記載のベクターにより 形質転換されたトランスジェニック植物細胞または該細胞に由来するトランスジ ェニック植物細胞。 12.請求項11記載の植物細胞を含む植物。 13.有用植物である、請求項12記載の植物。 14.スクロース貯蔵性またはデンプン貯蔵性植物である、請求項13記載の 植物。 15.ジャガイモである、請求項14記載の植物。 16.請求項11記載の植物細胞を含む、請求項12から15のいずれか一項 記載の植物の繁殖物質。 17.請求項11記載の植物細胞を含む、請求項12から15のいずれか一項 記載の植物の収穫産物。 18.(a)SSTの製造および必要に応じて外部から添加したスクロースまたは 同等の基質の短鎖フルクトシルポリマーへの変換が可能な条件下で請求項8記載 の宿主細胞または請求項11記載の植物細胞を培養する段階と、 (b)このようにして産生されたフルクトシルポリマーを培養細胞または培地か ら得る段階とを含む、短鎖フルクトシルポリマーの製造法。 19.(a)短鎖フルクトシルポリマーへの変換が可能な条件下でスクロース または同等の基質を請求項10記載のSSTと接触させる段階と、 (b)このようにして産生されたフルクトシルポリマーを得る段階とを含む、短 鎖フルクトシルポリマーの製造法。 20.(a)請求項12から15のいずれか一項記載の植物を培養する段階と 、 (b)これらの植物または請求項16記載のそれらの繁殖物質または請求項17 記載の収穫産物からフルクトシルポリマーを得る段階とを含む、短鎖フルクトシ ルポリマーの製造法。 21.請求項11記載の植物細胞、請求項12から15のいずれか一項記載の 植物、請求項16記載の繁殖物質もしくは請求項17記載の収穫産物から得られ る、または請求項18から20のいずれか一項記載の方法により製造されたフル クトシルポリマーの食品生産への使用。 22.食品が焼いた製品またはパスタである、請求項21記載の使用。 23.請求項1から4のいずれか一項記載の核酸分子のいずれか一つに特異的 にハイブリダイズするオリゴヌクレオチド。
