Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.試料中のブドウ球菌を検出するための培地であって、前記培地が、ブドウ 球菌の増殖に対して選択性を有する成分および前記試料を前記培地中で培養する ときにブドウ球菌を含有するコロニーとバチルス微生物を含有するコロニーとを 識別するのに十分な量でグルコピラノシド指示物質を含む、培地。 2.前記培地が寒天ゲルの形態である、請求項1に記載の培地。 3.前記寒天ゲルがベアード・パーカー・エイガーゲルを含む、請求項2に記 載の培地。 4.前記培地が、薄フィルム培養装置の自立性、防水性基材に付着した乾燥ブ ロスの形態である、請求項1に記載の培地。 5.請求項1に記載の培地を使用して試料中のブドウ球菌を検出する方法であ って: 検出可能なコロニーを生じる条件下で請求項1に記載の培地中で前記試料を培 養すること、 を含む、方法。 6.前記方法が前記試料中のブドウ球菌の有無を確認することを更に含む、請 求項5に記載の方法。 7.前記方法が前記試料中のブドウ球菌を計数することを更に含む、請求項5 に記載の方法。 8.試料中のブドウ球菌を検出するための装置であって、前記装置が、薄フィ ルム培養の自立性、防水性基材に付着した乾燥ブロスの形態にある請求項1に記 載の培地を含有する、装置。 9.前記グルコピラノシド指示物質がインドリルグルコピラノシドを含む、請 求項8に記載の装置。 10.前記指示物質が5−ブロモ−4−クロロ−3−インドリル−β−D−グ ルコピラノシドを含む、請求項9に記載の装置。
