Description of the Related Art As a conventional noise control apparatus of this type, an audio signal output from an audio section such as a radio tuner or a cassette deck is amplified to a certain level according to International Publication WO90 / 09655, and the amplified signal is amplified. There is known an audio signal in which a muffling signal from an active noise processing unit is superimposed on an audio signal, and the audio signal on which the muffling signal is superimposed is further amplified to sound a speaker. Here, the active noise processing unit is, for example, as disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 11-3084, converts external noise into a noise signal which is an electric signal, and converts a signal obtained by processing the noise signal with an adaptive filter. A control speaker sounds as a control signal. The sound from the control speaker is converted into an error signal, which is an electric signal, by an error detector, and the error signal follows a change in noise using an adaptive filter and is always minimized.

The specific configuration of a unit composed of one or more components is not shown. Therefore, when implementing the noise processing device described in the international publication, a configuration is conceivable in which an audio unit, an active noise processing unit, and other components are incorporated in one unit. However, in particular, an audio head unit equipped with a radio tuner, a cassette deck, and other audio units mounted on an automobile often replaces the one originally attached to the automobile with another type depending on the user's preference and the like. . In such a case, if all the components are built in one unit, a problem occurs that the active noise processing unit is removed when the unit is replaced with a new audio head unit.

In this case, mixing means for superimposing a mute signal on the audio signal is required. However, when the mixing means is provided in the audio head unit, when the audio head unit is replaced with an audio head unit having no mixing means, not only the mute signal cannot be superimposed, but also the speaker becomes an audio head unit. Since it is wired to the unit and is sounded by the audio signal, it is highly likely that the user does not notice that the mute signal is not superimposed on the audio signal.

The audio head unit 1 has a built-in radio tuner 11 and a cassette deck 12, which are audio units. In the present embodiment, the built-in audio units are the radio tuner 11 and the cassette deck 12, but may be replaced with another audio unit such as a CD player or an MD player, or may be added. A commercially available audio head unit has a power amplifier inside so that the speaker 3 can be sounded independently. Therefore, the power amplifier 13 is also built in the audio head unit 1 in the present embodiment.

Control unit) 2 was installed. The ANC unit 2 has a built-in ANC controller 21 as an active noise processing unit. The ANC controller 21 is a circuit that actively outputs a muffling signal for muffling external noise. The muffling signal output from the ANC controller 21 has a small dynamic range, and has a predetermined size to make the speaker 3 sound. It needs to be amplified.
Therefore, the ANC unit 2 has a built-in power amplifier 22 and amplifies the muffling signal output from the ANC controller 21 to a level at which the speaker 3 can sound. In the present embodiment, a mixer 23 as a mixing means is incorporated downstream of the power amplifier 22.
The audio signal amplified by the power amplifier 13 and the mute signal amplified by the power amplifier 22 are input to the mixer 23. The mute signal is superimposed on the audio signal by the mixer 23 and output to the speaker 3. When the speaker 3 rings, music and the like are generated, and a muffling signal superimposed thereon generates a muffling pseudo-noise having a phase opposite to that of external noise, and the pseudo-noise cancels external noise. . As a result, the occupant in the vehicle has a reduced hearing level of noise, and can clearly hear music and the like.

In addition, a new audio head unit can be selected from those having a built-in power amplifier, and after replacement, the new audio head unit only needs to be wired to the mixer 23. Conversely, if a wiring error occurs in which the replaced new audio head unit is not wired to the mixer 23, music or the like is not output from the speaker 3, so that the wiring error can be immediately recognized.
