When the fresh leaves are conveyed in the wire mesh drum 3, cut leaves, tree stalks or dust (hereinafter referred to as cut leaves) fall from the mesh of the wire mesh having a predetermined mesh to separate from the fresh leaves (sieving). However, at this time, since the fresh leaves are dry leaves, by setting the inclination angle α of the wire mesh drum 3 to be large, the conveying speed of the fresh leaves is increased, and the efficiency of the sieving process is enhanced. The cut leaves and the like separated from the fresh leaves are placed (supplied) on the transport belt 25 of the transport conveyor 5, and
It is conveyed in a predetermined direction by the conveyor 5 and is supplied to either the vibration conveyor 7 or the vibration conveyor 11. At this time, when the number of leaves is small, for example, when the number of leaves is small, the forward and reverse rotation motor 26 is rotated forward to supply the leaves and the like to the vibrating conveyor 7 so that the leaves are mixed again with the fresh leaves. However, when there are many cut leaves, etc., the forward / reverse rotation motor 26 is reversed to supply (collect) the cut leaves and the like to the vibrating conveyor 11 to prevent the mixed leaves from being mixed with fresh leaves. .
