Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.2進データをnQAM変調を用いて搬送波上へ伝送する方法であって、前記2 進データはユーザデータと制御データの両方を含み、その結果、制御チャネルが 同じnQAM配列内のユーザデータチャネルの上に重畳され、かつユーザデータの部 分には用いられない固有の位相値または振幅値のいずれかをもたせるように該制 御データの部分を配列することによって前記制御データの分離が、容易化される ことを特徴とする方法。 2.前記制御データが、ユーザデータの部分には用いられない固有の位相値を 有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 3.前記固有の位相値がnQAM配列の四分円の間の境界線に実質的に位置し、か つ前記ユーザデータ部分が前記nQAM配列の四分円の範囲内に収まる位相値を有す ることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。 4.前記nQAM配列が分割されて、(log2n-1)ビットがユーザデータ用に使用可 能となり、2ビットが制御データ用に使用可能となることを特徴とする請求項3 に記載の方法。 5.制御データ部分が4QAMを構成することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法 。 6.前記制御データ部分がn値とは無関係に独自に識別されることを特徴とす る上記いずれかの請求項に記載の方法。 7.2進データがnQAM変調を用いて搬送波上へ伝送されるデータ伝送システム であって、前記2進データはユーザデータと制御データの両方を含み、その結果 、制御チャネルが同じnQAM配列内のユーザデータチャネルの上に重畳され、かつ ユーザデータの部分には用いられない、固有の位相値または振幅値のいずれかを 持つ該制御データ部分を配列することによって前記制御データの分離が容易化さ れていることを特徴とするデータ伝送システム。 8.前記制御データが、ユーザデータの部分には用いられない固有の位相値を 有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載のデータ伝送システム。 9.前記固有の位相値がnQAM配列の四分円の間の境界線に実質的に位置し、 かつ前記ユーザデータ部分が前記nQAM配列の四分円の範囲内に収まる位相値を有 することを特徴とする請求項8に記載のデータ伝送システム。 10.前記nQAM配列が分割されて、(log2n-1)ビットがユーザデータ用に使用 可能となり、2ビットが制御データ用に使用可能となることを特徴とする請求項 9に記載のデータ伝送システム。 11.制御データ部分が4QAMを構成することを特徴とする請求項10に記載のデー タ伝送システム。 12.前記制御データ部分がn値とは関係なく独自に識別されることを特徴とす る請求項7から11のいずれかに記載のデータ伝送システム。 13.前記データ伝送システムはDMT伝送システムであることを特徴とする請求 項12に記載のデータ伝送システム。 14.前記データ伝送システムはDMTをベースとするVDSLシステムであることを 特徴とする請求項12または請求項13のいずれかに記載のデータ伝送システム。 15.前記データ伝送システムは、それぞれが1台の送信機と1台の受信機を含 む少なくとも2台のトランシーバを包含することを特徴とする請求項14に記載の データ伝送システム。 16.データ伝送システムに用いる受信機であって、該受信機は制御チャネルと ユーザデータチャネルがそこで変調されるnQAM変調搬送波のデコード用の手段と 、高位レイヤプロトコルに依存しないで前記ユーザデータチャネルから前記制御 チャネルを分離する手段とを有することを特徴とする請求項7から15のいずれか に記載のデータ伝送システムに用いる受信機。 17.データ伝送システムに用いる送信機であって、該送信機はデータを搬送波 上へnQAM配列として変調する手段を有し、前記データは制御データとユーザデー タとを含み、前記制御データは前記搬送波上へmQAM配列として変調され、この場 合m>nであり、前記mQAM配列は固有の位相値または振幅値を有する一組の配列 部分を含み、これらの固有値はユーザデータの変調用としては用いられないこと を特徴とする請求項7から14のいずれかに記載のデータ伝送システムに用 いる送信機。 18.m=4であることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の送信機。 19.前記mQAM配列は固有の位相値を有する一組の配列部分を含み、これらの固 有値はユーザデータの配列部分には用いられないことを特徴とする請求項17また は請求項18のいずれかに記載の送信機。 20.n=6であることを特徴とする請求項17から19のいずれかに記載の送信機。 21.該トランシーバは請求項16に記載の受信機を含むことを特徴とするトラン シーバ。 22.該トランシーバは請求項17から20のいずれかに記載の送信機を含むことを 特徴とする請求項21に記載のトランシーバ。
