Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 溶解した溶融加工可能な重合物質を複数の押出しオリフィスに通してマルチ フィラメント・スピンラインを形成し、前記マルチフィラメント・スピンライ ンを、そのテナシティを高めるために延伸して、凝固が生じる急冷帯域に通し 、支持体上に集めてウェブを形成し、それを結合してスパンボンド法のウェブ を形成するスパンボンド法のウェブ形成方法において、少なくとも2つの隔た った被駆動延伸ロールのまわりに巻き付けながら前記マルチフィラメント・ス ピンラインをその長さ方向で急冷帯域と支持体の間に通し、これらの被駆動延 伸ロールを、マルチフィラメント・スピンラインが延伸ロールと接触する領域 で、入口端および出口端を有するシュラウドによって取り囲み、シュラウドを その入り口端がマルチフィラメント・スピンラインを受け入れるように設け、 主として隔たった被駆動延伸ロールの作用によってマルチフィラメント・スピ ンラインに引張力を加えて押出しオリフィスに隣接してマルチフィラメント・ スピンラインの延伸を行い、シュラウドの出口端に位置した空気圧推進ジェッ トに通すことによってマルチフィラメント・スピンラインにさらに引張力を加 え、マルチフィラメント・スピンラインの隔たった被駆動延伸ロールとの接触 を助け、マルチフィラメント・スピンラインをその長さ方向においてシュラウ ドの出口端から支持体に向かって排出することを特徴とする方法。 2. 前記溶融加工可能な熱可塑性重合材料が主にポリエチレンテレフタレートで あることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 3. 前記溶融加工可能な熱可塑性重合材料がポリプロピレンであることを特徴と する請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 4. 前記溶融加工可能な重合材料が直線の紡糸口金の形で設けた複数の押出しオ リフィスを通ることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 5. 前記急冷帯域が交差流れ急冷帯域として設けてあることを特徴とする請求の 範囲第1項に記載の方法。 6. 前記少なくとも2つの間隔を置いて設けた被駆動延伸ロールをおよそ1,000 〜5,000メートル/毎分の表面速度で回転させることを特徴とする請求の範囲 第1項に記載の方法。 7. 前記空気圧推進ジェットを通った後に前記マルチフィラメント・スピンライ ンを連続ベルトの表面に集め、このベルトが前記空気圧推進ジェットに対して 隔たった状態で設けてあることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 8. 前記マルチフィラメント・スピンラインが、前記支持体上に集めたときに、 1フィラメントあたりおよそ1.1〜22のdTexを有することを特徴とす る請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 9. 前記マルチフィラメント・スピンラインが主としてポリエチレンテレフタレ ートで形成してあり、前記支持体上に集めたときに、1フィラメントあたり約 0.55〜8.8のdTexを有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記 載の方法。 10.前記マルチフィラメント・スピンラインがアイソタクチックポリプロピレン で形成してあり、前記支持体上に集めたときに、1フィラメントあたりおよそ 1.1〜11のdTexを有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の 方法。 11.前記支持体上に収集した後に、前記ウェブをパターン結合して前記スパンボ ンド法のウェブを形成することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 12.前記支持体上に収集した後に、前記ウェブを表面結合して前記スパンボンド 法のウェブを形成することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 13.形成したスパンボンド法のウェブが約13.6〜271.7グラム/平方メ ートルの重量を有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 14.スパンボンド法のウェブを製造する装置であって、 (a)溶融熱可塑性重合物質の押出しでマルチフィラメント・スピンラインを 形成することができる複数の溶融押出しオリフィスと、 (b)溶融押出しに続いて前記溶融マルチフィラメント熱可塑性重合スピンラ インの凝固を行うことのできる急冷帯域と、 (c)急冷帯域から下流側に位置する少なくとも2つの被駆動延伸ロールとを 含み、この被駆動延伸ロールは、前記マルチフィラメント熱可塑性重合スピン ラインがロールと接触する領域で、入口端および出口端を有すシュラウドによ って取り囲まれており、このシュラウドがマルチフィラメント熱可塑性重合ス ピンラインを受け入れることができるように設けてあり、前記延伸ロールが前 記マルチフィラメント熱可塑性重合スピンラインに引張力を加えて押出しオリ フィスに隣接してこれの延伸を達成することができ、 (d)シュラウドの出口端のところに位置する空気圧推進ジェットを含み、こ の空気圧推進ジェットは、前記マルチフィラメント熱可塑性重合スピンライン の隔たった前記被駆動延伸ロールとの接触を助けることができ、さらに、前記 マルチフィラメント熱可塑性重合スピンラインをその長さ方向において前記シ ュラウドの出口端から排出させることができ、 (e)空気圧推進ジェットの下に隔たった状態で位置する支持体を含み、この 支持体は、前記マルチフィラメント熱可塑性重合スピンラインを受け入れるこ とができ、またそれのレイダウンを促進してウェブを形成することができ、 (f)前記ウェブ形成に続いて前記マルチフィラメント熱可塑性重合スピンラ インを結合してスパンボンド法のウェブを形成することができる結合手段を含 む、 組み合わせであることを特徴とする装置。 15.前記複数の溶融押出しオリフィス(a)を直線の紡糸口金として設けたこと を特徴とする請求の範囲第14項に記載の装置。 16.前記急冷帯域(b)が、冷却ガスが前記溶融押出しに続いて前記溶融マルチ フィラメント熱可塑性重合スピンラインに衝突する交差流れ急冷を行うことが できることを特徴とする請求の範囲第14項に記載の装置。 17.前記シュラウド(c)が重合縁を含み、こられの重合縁が前記延伸ロールに 近接して設置し、マルチフィラメントの熱可塑性重合材料が前記延伸ロールに 巻き付けられる領域のところに前記延伸ロールをほぼ完全に囲むことができ、 また、前記重合縁が前記延伸ロールと接触した際に容易に粉末に分解できるこ とを特徴とする請求の範囲第14項に記載の装置。 18.前記支持体(e)が連続ベルトであることを特徴とする請求の範囲第14項 に記載の装置。 19.前記結合手段(f)がパターン結合されたスパンボンド法のウェブを形成す ることができることを特徴とする請求の範囲第14項に記載の装置。 20.前記結合手段(f)が表面結合したスパンボンド法のウェブを形成すること ができることを特徴とする請求の範囲第14項に記載の装置。
