Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.パケットネットワーク内でパケットをルート指定する方法において、 パケットネットワークのノードに少なくとも2つの待ち行列を形成し、そして そのノードに到着するパケットを次の基準の少なくとも1つに基づいて待ち行列 へ導き、 − 加入者特有の基準、例えば、 加入者識別; TLLIのような接続識別; TCPプロセスのような搬送レイヤプロセス; IPアドレスのようなネットワークアドレス; 又は − サービス/サービスの質特有の基準、例えば、 パケットを受信する加入者のサービスの質(QoS); アプリケーション又はアプリケーションクラスのTCPプロトコルのポー ト;そして 一度に所定数のパケットを待ち行列から送信する、 という段階を備えたことを特徴とする方法。 2.少なくとも1つの基準は加入者特有の基準であり、そして2つ以上の同時 接続を有する加入者に対して少なくとも2つの待ち行列が形成され、これら待ち 行列は、サービス/サービスの質特有の基準に基づいて分離される請求項1に記 載の方法。 3.少なくとも1つの基準は加入者特有の基準であり、そして2つ以上の同時 接続を有する加入者の各同時接続に対して個別の待ち行列が形成される請求項1 に記載の方法。 4.単位時間当たりに各待ち行列から送信されるパケットの数は、次の基準、 即ち − パケットを受信する加入者のサービスの質; − 接続に関連したアプリケーションのサービスの質; − 関連待ち行列のデータの量;及び − 関連待ち行列に既に与えられたサービスの料率; の1つ以上に基づいて定められる請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の方法。 5.最も高いサービスの質をもつ待ち行列から、パケットができるだけ迅速に 送信される請求項4に記載の方法。 6.待ち行列に既に与えられたサービスの料率は、パケットが待ち行列にある 時間の移動平均として定められ、そして単位時間当たりに送られるパケットの数 は、少なくとも同じサービス/サービスの質をもつ待ち行列に対し本質的に同一 に維持される請求項4又は5に記載の方法。 7.少なくとも同じサービス/サービスの質をもつ待ち行列から、長い時間周 期にわたって各待ち行列に等しい長さの送信時間が与えられるようにパケットが 送信される請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の方法。 8.少なくとも同じサービス/サービスの質をもつ待ち行列から、長い時間周 期にわたって同じ数のパケットが各待ち行列から送られるようにパケットが送信 される請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の方法。 9.待ち行列からパケットが送信されるときに、待ち行列に残留するパケット の数が所定のスレッシュホールド値より小さいかどうかチェックし、そしてもし そうであれば、これらのパケットも送信される請求項1ないし8のいずれかに記 載の方法。 10.加入者及び/又はアプリケーションのサービスの質は、サービス/サー ビスの質を表す識別を各パケットに与えることにより接続に沿って位置するノー ドに通知される請求項1ないし9のいずれかに記載の方法。 11.加入者及び/又はアプリケーションのサービス/サービスの質は、サー ビス/サービスの質の変化を表す個別のメッセージにより接続に沿って位置する ノードに通知される請求項1ないし9のいずれかに記載の方法。 12.2つの連続するパケット間の時間間隔が、単一待ち行列以外で、アプリ ケーションに接続をセットダウンさせるスレッシュホールド遅延値を越えないこ とも上記方法において監視される請求項1ないし11のいずれかに記載の方法。 13.パケットネットワークはGPRSネットワークであり、そしてルータは ネットワークのSGSN及び/又はGGSNノードである請求項1ないし12の いずれかに記載の方法。 14.移動システムのベーストランシーバステーション(BTS)及び/又は ベースステーションコントローラ(BSC)に待ち行列が形成される請求項1な いし13のいずれかに記載の方法。 15.パケットのソースと行先との間の接続に少なくとも2つの異なるルート 指定方法が使用される請求項1ないし14のいずれかに記載の方法。
