(Korovin

High power capacity accumulator
〔Technical field〕
"High Power Capacity Accumulator" of the present invention
Relates to secondary electrochemical power supplies.
(Background technology)
Accumulators currently being manufactured and developed include: V. Korovin
) Written in "Electrochemical energetics"
Its features are described.
The most widely manufactured and used are lead, nickel-cadmium, nickel
It is an accumulator of ruthenium and nickel-zinc. 4th and 5th of the periodic table
And six cycles of chemical compound were applied to the electrodes with the accumulator described above.
Accumulators are heavy and simple.
The power capacity per unit mass is low, 10-45W. h / kg, nickel-zinc
Only 50-70W. h / kg. The voltage between the electrodes of one cell is not high and is 1
22V. The active substance is the electrochemical process of charging and discharging one or two electrons.
Participate in the reaction, apart from which the components of the electrolyte often also participate in these chemical reactions
. The work resource is not very large, hundreds to thousands of cycles.
For example, the power capacity of the nickel-zinc accumulator is 100 to 400 cycles.
Nickel-hydrogen and bromine-zinc accumulators have higher energy,
~ 75W. h / kg, and the chlorine-zinc accumulator is 100-150W. h
/ Kg. However, they also have some of the disadvantages mentioned above, and
The voltage between the electrodes is not so high, 1.1 to 1.95 V, the operating source is small,
200 to 1500 cycles, but operation of the nickel-hydrogen accumulator
The source is high, 2000-10000 cycles. The weight of these accumulators
The key drawback is the high rate of self-discharge, which can be as high as several percent per hour.
The largest in a high energy capacity chlorine-zinc accumulator.
It has a self-discharge rate. For storing hydrogen and halogen in accumulators
The problem is that chlorine storage is particularly difficult and complicated. Those problems are these things
This is also caused by the high quality diffusion capacity, which is the accumulator's self.
Start self-discharge and increase. Regarding fire safety, hydrogen leakage is dangerous,
Chlorine and bromine leaks can cause serious environmental pollution and threaten human life.
It can even be.
Sulfur-sodium accumulators and lithium accumulators are used for non-aqueous electrolysis.
It has the highest power capacity, although quality is utilized.
An important drawback of sulfur-sodium accumulators is their high operating temperature,
150-300 ° C., the power capacity is high, 70-230 W. h
/ Kg, the voltage between electrodes of one cell is 1.75 to 1.85 V,
Is 1000 to 5000 cycles.
The power capacity of a lithium accumulator using a non-aqueous electrolyte is 60 to 200 W
. h / kg, and the voltage between the electrodes of the same cell is 1.5 to 3 V. The electrolyte component is
Participates in charge / discharge chemical reactions. The operation of these accumulators is unstable
The growth of dendrites proceeds, and the electrodes passivate. Their operating sources are also low
, 100 to several hundred cycles. Their many operating temperatures are 50-150 ° C.
In addition, their properties are such that if the temperature is lower than 25 ° C., the degree of the deterioration becomes large.
The stability and operating source of the accumulator have been increased to about 1000 cycles,
If the operating period is perfect, the power capacity is reduced several times.
Active substances in accumulators are often poorly conductive, and to increase
Add special components to the quality and / or make the collector and current output terminals from metal
However, this reduces the power capacity of the accumulator. In direct contact with the electrolyte
A thin layer of active material on an electrode is often involved in electrochemical processes,
Increases the passivation and consequently reduces the power capacity of the accumulator. Because
This is because the utilization of the active substance is not perfect. Energy saving during operation
The capacity can be very significantly reduced.
Fast self-discharge caused by high mobility / diffusion of atoms in active material
Is a high power capacity hydrogen or halogen (chlorine, bromine)
Get up in the accumulator. It is also a problem that gas accumulates in the accumulator,
Apart from that, these active substances are dangerous if a leak occurs.
For many accumulator charging / discharging processes, the electrolyte components are directly electrochemical
Participate in the reaction, so that during the process the properties and operating parameters of the electrolyte change,
As a result, the quality of the electrode active material deteriorates, its structure changes, passivates, dendrites
Material is generated. They all make the operating parameters of the accumulator worse, ie
, Reduced operating time and operating source, requiring constant inspection and proper maintenance during operation
become.
Accumulators are often made of expensive and rare materials.
Connecting the accumulator cells in series and in parallel usually reduces their weight.
And the volume increases, resulting in a decrease in their total power capacity.
It is an object of the present invention to provide for the total power capacity of the accumulator, i.

Their stable, long-term operation and energy conservation with minimal
Make sure that the loss (minimum self-discharge) is given;
Being able to perform maintenance; small, theoretically infinitely large accumulators
(Series and parallel connection of cell batteries)
And these high power capacity accumulators to ensure that they are harmless to humans and the environment.
To ensure safe use in such a way.
To secure and package the accumulator elements together
The prior art of U.S. Pat.

It depends on the degree of graphitization of the active material of the electrode and the nature of the electrolyte, which in turn depends on the electrolyte composition
It depends on the contents of the product, especially on the desired additives.

The prototype of the invention described here for the high power capacity accumulator electrolyte
Has not been found. The electrolyte consists of three layers:
● The negative electrode is impregnated / filled.
Degrading and its side separator (3);
● Positive electrode impregnated / filled (6) Electrolyte in void of positive electrode
And a separator (5) on the side thereof;
● The electrolyte in the gap between the negative and positive electrodes is not mixed,
Between the two electrolytes described above in the electrode gap to prevent loss of
Lum / membrane-electrolyte.
The compositions of all three electrolyte layers are different. Depending on the requirements, between the cell electrodes
When the voltage is low, the basic components of the compositions may differ slightly.
The desired additives in the composition of the separation layer are different. High voltage between cell electrodes
In some cases, the components of the compositions of the different layers are significantly different.
All three compositions of the electrolyte layer have common properties:
● Selective electrical conductivity of the anion, which is practically the same for all three layers:
Thion has low mobility and virtually all cations are firmly anchored;
● The electrolyte and the components of the composition of all three layers do not participate in the charge / discharge process,
Necessary to enable the electrical conductivity of the anions and to allow the process to take place
