Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a packing material by using a synthetic resin material of superior durability in the techniqe for the impression cylinder packing material for an intaglio printer, applying a desired recess and projection processing on the resin material and forming a projection in a part requiring a strong printing pressure, and forming a recess in a part not requiring strong printing pressure in compliance with the intaglio printing image depth, and forming gently recess and projections boundaries. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of an impression packing material (a') and an intaglio printer, projections are formed on the packing material (a') of a synthetic resin material film 4 by removing sections not requiring printing pressure in compliance with the printing image depth of intaglio printing plate of an intaglio plate cylinder, and its boundary line sections 3' are formed gently, and a configuration of a mold material for processing unevenness is provided.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in general, when performing intaglio printing, the metal surface of the impression cylinder of the intaglio printing press and the plate surface of the intaglio plate cylinder are prevented from being impacted, and the plate surface is given an appropriate elasticity, and In order to maintain constant contact with the printing material, a packing material such as paper or cloth is wrapped around the surface of the impression cylinder (so-called cylinder paper), adjusted, finished to a predetermined cylinder diameter, and further intaglio plate cylinder. It is necessary to partially attach the printing press surface with the above-mentioned paper or cloth at a portion where the printing pressure tends to be insufficient due to the depth of the image of the intaglio printing plate attached to the printing plate. Since the packing material used for such a conventional impression cylinder is made of a material such as paper and cloth, due to the printing pressure at the time of intaglio printing, the packing material is gradually compressed and cannot maintain an appropriate printing pressure. It is difficult to maintain stable quality of printed products. In addition, as described above, to partially paste depending on the depth of the image of the intaglio, or to make the pasting border gentle,
Requires chamfering. As described above, the use of the conventional packing material requires a lot of man-hours, labor and time, and furthermore, there is a possibility that the packing material at the pasted portion may be shifted due to the printing pressure.

The present invention uses a highly durable synthetic resin material, for example, a polyester film, in place of a packing material such as paper or cloth, and uses it after subjecting it to desired unevenness processing. With the intaglio printing line depth, the parts that require strong printing pressure are processed into convex parts, and the parts that do not require strong printing pressure are processed into concave parts, so that the boundary between these irregularities is formed smoothly. The purpose is to obtain the material. Since such a packing material is formed as an integral body, the position of the concave and convex portions does not shift, and therefore, it is possible to contribute to stabilization of the print quality of the finished print product. In addition, in the production of this packing material, in order to impart a desired uneven portion to the packing material, a pattern material reverse to the desired uneven portion is manufactured in advance, and the pattern material is brought into close contact with the polyester film and ground to grind the material. New packing material having unevenness similar to that of the packing material and a gentle boundary line can be efficiently obtained. This greatly reduces the man-hours and work time for manufacturing this type of packing material, and achieves labor savings.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS In the intaglio printing press shown in FIG.
The state in which the impression cylinder (B) is in contact with the intaglio plate cylinder (A) is shown. The packing material (a ') shown in FIGS.
Are also used for this impression cylinder (B). That is, the packing material (a ') made of a synthetic resin material of the present invention, for example, a polyethylene film (4), shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 (a partially enlarged cross section of FIG. 3) is in contact with the plate surface of the intaglio plate cylinder (A). In connection with this, by removing a portion that does not require particularly strong printing pressure according to the image line depth, the convex portion (5) [this figure also includes a number of similar convex portions (5) as in FIG. Is an example]. The projections (5) are formed by arranging the packing material (a) having the structure shown in FIG. 2 on a synthetic resin film and continuously processing the film with a grinding wheel or the like. In this case, the boundary portion (3 ′) is formed smoothly. Such packing material (a ')
Is formed as a single piece, the position of the projections (5) does not shift, and therefore, it is possible to contribute to the stability of the printing quality of the resulting printed product.

In the production of the packing material (a '), a pattern material for processing which is opposite to the desired uneven portion is provided in order to provide the uneven portion including the desired convex portion (5). A working mold made of brass or the like having a concave portion in which the convex portion (5) is formed is manufactured in advance, and the working mold is closely adhered to the polyethylene film or the like and ground to obtain the packing. Projection similar to material (a ')
(5) and a plurality of packing materials having a gentle boundary (3 ') can be efficiently manufactured. This greatly reduces the man-hours and work time required for manufacturing the conventional packing material (a) as shown in FIG. 2 and greatly contributes to labor saving.
