The temperature is approximately 0 to 800 ° C., and ceramics as an insulating sheath material have not been selected from the special viewpoint of far-infrared radiation from the viewpoint of energy saving. Therefore, it has not always been appropriate to require these ceramic heaters to have particularly high far-infrared radiation.

A wide range of resistance wires can be used as the wire, but in particular, Fe-Ni alloys, Fe-Cr
An alloy selected and applied from the group consisting of a system alloy and a Fe-Cr-Al system alloy is preferable. Among them, Fe-Ni alloys are known as resistance wires such as steel wires which are inexpensive and easy to process, and are usually supplied as wires having a diameter of about 8 mm.
And it is easy to manufacture not only round wires but also odd-shaped wires such as oval or oval shapes, and it is also easy to manufacture extremely thin wires. The surface of the wire having such high electric resistance is coated with aluminum. As described later, aluminum can be manufactured by any means such as extrusion coating, tape winding and drawing.

Fe-Ni alloys have the Invar effect and can be used at 1200 ° C, and are the most preferred alloys. 1200 ° C for Fe-Cr alloy, 1200 ° C for Fe-Cr-Al alloy, N
1100 ° C for i-Cr alloy, 40 for Cu-Ni alloy
It is used at 0 ° C or lower, but has no Invar effect
Inferior to base alloys. Further, the Fe—Ni-based alloy has a strong metal bond strength with Al, is easily compounded, and does not peel off Al or alumite forming the outer layer even when wound around a mandrel having a self-diameter. Therefore, Fe-Ni-based alloys are superior to other alloys even in the case of Al coating and alumite formation, because the basic characteristics described above are excellent. In addition, in the case of the Fe-Ni alloy,
As the Al coating, any of a cladding method, a plating method, a powder sintering method, and the like can be adopted. Since the Fe—Ni alloy has a good metal bond with the Al coating, various types of ceramics and Fe can be used.
-Compared to a composite wire having an alloy other than a Ni-based alloy as a base material, the bonding strength is excellent, and it is the most preferable alloy as a base material of a resistance wire.

In this case, since the steel wire is used as the core, it is impossible to uniformly anodize the entire aluminum layer due to, for example, the roundness of the steel wire or the uneven thickness of the aluminum layer outside the steel wire,
As a result of intensive studies on this point, it was found that by leaving an aluminum layer having an average thickness of about 10 μm, it is possible to maintain the electrical resistance of the entire wire and maintain the thermal stability of the anodic oxide film. Was. A phenomenon similar to this is naturally observed in other deformed wires other than the round wire.

However, this thickness can be arbitrarily determined according to the dielectric breakdown voltage value and the required characteristics of the emissivity of far infrared rays. Incidentally, the dielectric breakdown voltage of the anodic oxide film of aluminum is about 15 to 30 V.

While maintaining the core diameter and the thickness of the aluminum coating layer at a certain ratio so that the wire diameter and the appropriate aluminum coating thickness are obtained, the diameter is reduced by special drawing or rolling.

In Example A of the present invention, when the alumite film is several tens μm or more, it has a stable and high emissivity that is not inferior to that of a general composite of far-infrared radiating ceramics. Since the radiant energy is further enhanced from the surface at a high temperature, the far-infrared radiation activity is further superior to that of the ordinary composite ceramics layer sintered insulated heater.

The Fe-Ni alloy composite wire (round wire) having an outer diameter of 1.4 mm shown in Example 1 was passed twice through a roller die to form a rectangular wire of 1 x 1.5 mm. At this time, Examples A and B could be molded into a rectangular shape, but C and D did not deform the ceramic as the outer coating at all and could not be peeled off to obtain a rectangular product. In Example 2, the sample 1A of Example 1 was crushed into an oval to obtain a sample 2A, and the sample 1B was crushed into an oval to obtain a sample 2B. The temperature rise when applying a voltage of 5 V was measured. The results are as shown in Tables 3 and 4. Pass the Al alloy wire through the hot-dip aluminum plating tank,
An aluminum plating of 0.15 mm is uniformly applied to the periphery, and this plating layer is formed under the same anodic oxidation conditions as in Example 1,
A 50 μm alumite layer was produced. This was designated as sample 3X, and the one without anodization was designated as sample 3Y. This sample 3
X and 3Y were molded into a rectangular shape using a roller die in the same manner as in Example 2 to obtain a rectangular wire of 0.8 × 1.6 mm. The external aluminum coating layer was not particularly abnormal, and some cracks were observed in the alumite coating.
Since there was no peeling, there was no problem in maintaining insulation as a heater. Further, the rectangular shaped samples were designated as 3X 'and 3Y', and voltages of 2 V and 5 V were applied to these samples under the same conditions as in Example 1. The results are as shown in Tables 5 and 6. In all cases, there was no underwater peeling after 5 minutes and excellent properties were obtained.

However, there is no abnormality in the characteristics even when wound around 20 times or more of the self-diameter (for a wire diameter of 2 mm, a mandrel having a diameter of 40 mm).

The alumite coating allows for electrical insulation of several hundred volts. The alumite film radiates far-infrared rays from the heating surface, so far-infrared drying and heating effects are also effective for energy saving. Compared with (C), (A) is within 1 minute, and the energy saving effect is remarkable as it can reach the heating temperature range of 5 minutes (C).
