Abstract
Navigational and optical data are received (102) through interfaces with a navigation unit and a surroundings-acquisition unit. A virtual road marking is determined (104) from the data received. This is a line representing an optimal course to be steered by the vehicle driver when following a curve. The virtual line is shown to the driver in a head-up display, via a further interface (106), in contact analog mode. An independent claim IS INCLUDED FOR corresponding control and display equipment.
