Abstract
In equipment for the washing and drying or only drying of products such as pieces made of metal or plastics material or the like washed with a flammable solvent in a closed circuit and in a non-inert environment of the type comprising a chamber or tub 1 in which the products are placed, which can form part of a circuit 3 for the washing of products and which is included in a circuit 2 for drying the products and for recovery of the solvent used by evaporation and subsequent condensation, provision is made for a second drying circuit 20 operating in parallel with and in combination with first drying circuit 2 provided with means 28, 28b for the forced circulation of a corresponding drying flow within tub 1 in order to bring about mechanical removal of at least part of the solvent from the said pieces and recovery of the solvent removed in a tank 4 independently of the recovery performed by drying circuit 4. <IMAGE>
