Abstract

Composizione di catalizzatore metallico, su supporto inerte, particolarmente adatto per reazioni di idrogenolisi di polioli superiori, caratterizzato dal fatto che comprende, con riferimento a 100 parti del catalizzatore:a) da 0,5 a 5% in peso di rutenio,b) da 1 a 10% in peso di un metallo scelto dal gruppo che consiste di palladio, platino e rodio, e c) da 0,5 a 2,5% in peso di rame,in cui i1 tenore di rame è inferiore al tenore del metallo b).Il catalizzatore è impiegato particolarmente per la produzione di polioli inferiori quali etandiolo, propandiolo, butandioli e glicerina, mediante reazione di idrogenolisi di polioli superiori.
