Abstract
L'invenzione ha come oggetto acciai di composizioni particolari che, grazie al loro tenore in zolfo e alla composizione delle inclusioni ossidate, sono particolarmente adatti per la lavorazione in barra o a troncatura e per la lavorazione a grande velocità mediante utensili di carburo o di ceramica.Gli acciai contengono in % in peso:C - da 0,05 a 0,45%Mn -da 0,80 a 1,65%Si - da 0,10 a 0,35%P - massimo 0,030%S - da 0,50 e 0,2 %e le loro inclusioni ossidate hanno come composizioni, in % in peso:Al2O3 -da 15 a 50%SiO2 -da 20 a 60% CaO + MnO - da 15 a 50%Questi acciai conservano, nonostante la presenza di zolfo, buone caratteristiche meccaniche.
