Abstract

Synchronous electric machine with double armature comprising a frame containing a stator armature, in which a rotary rotor is supported, provided with a central shaft, bearing a rotor armature; a stator armature is connected to an external three-phase electric mains in direct sequence, with a rotating field in accordance with the sense of rotation of the rotor and the rotor armature is connected to the mains, through the relevant slip rings and sliding contacts integral to the rotor shaft and to the frame, in reverse sequence with the rotating field opposite to the direction of rotation of the rotor.
