Claims (6)
1. A method of storing code words corresponding to the- speech samples of the individual channels in PCM- TDM telecommunication switching systems, in which the code words are stored in speech stores and read out for the switching operation, in which the hits of each code word are subdivided among several partial stores such that with a code word having only bits of one logical condition after the completion of the bit positions not stored in one partial store by bits of the other logical condition and after decoding the so completed code word an analogue value results the amount of which is at least approximatively equal to that resulting from each other partial store if its bit positions not stored therein are completed by bits ' of the other logical condition.
2. A method according to claim 1, and in which each code word is subdivided on to two partial stores.
3. A method according to claim 2, and in which the even numbered bits are stored in one of the two partial stores and the odd numbered bits are stored in the other partial store.
4. A method of storing code words corresponding to the speech samples of the individual channels in PCM- TDM telecommunications switching systems, in which the code words are stored in speech stores and read out for the switching operation, and in which the hits of each said code words are subdivided between two partial stores such that for each said code word the even-numbered bits are stored in one of the partial stores while the odd-numbered bits are stored in the other of the partial stores.
5. A method of storing code words corresponding to the speech samples of the individual channels in PCM-TDM telecommunication switching systems, substantially as described with reference to Fig. 2 of the accompanying drawings.
6. A telecommunication system which embodies the method of any one of the preceding claims. - 8 - o
