Abstract

Pharmaceutical compositions comprising, in combination, an antibiotic or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof and trans-4-[(2-amino-3,5- dibromo-benzyl)-amino]cyclohexanol or a physiologically acceptable acid addition salt thereof (e.g. the hydrochloride, ambroxol), optionally in association with a pharmaceutical carrier or excipient for use in combating bacterial infections of the respiratory tract. The antibiotic is preferably erythromycin, doxycycline, oxytetracycline, chloramphenicol, cephalexin, ampicillin or amoxycillin. [GB2083749A]
