Abstract

1312544 Mooring buoys SNAM PROGETTI SpA 8 July 1971 [8 July 1970 28 April 1971] 32220/71 Headings B7A and B7S Buoy 1 is attached to anchoring block 7 by three rigid legs 3 which are universally jointed to the buoy and block at 2. The buoy is pro- vided with a turn table top which carries mooring eyes 21, and pipe couplings 17 for connection with tanker unloading pipes 15. Couplings 17 connect, through a rotary coupling 18, flexible pipes 19 and collecting chamber 20 to a shore pipe 14. The lower joints 2 are mounted on a plate 4 which, as illustrated in, Fig. 3 (not shown), is connected to block 7 after it has been dropped on the sea bed, and jacks (6) are provided on the plate to assist in levelling it relative to the block.
