Abstract

1,096,080. Buoy for tanker terminus. IMODCO INTERNATIONAL Ltd. April 14, 1966 [April 19, 1965], No. 16400/66. Headings B7A and B7S. [Also in Division E1] A buoy for a floating terminus (see Division E1) comprising a pontoon 12 having a pier portion 12a is mounted via bearings 51, 52 in an opening 14 in the pontoon and moored by chains 18 to the sea bed 13 and has a unit 41 swivellable via bearings 42 around a unit 31 mounted on the buoy, the two units co-operating to form a multi-chamber unit connecting hoses 33, 34 from an offshore reservoir with pipes 45, 46 leading to vessels moored to the pontoon.
