Abstract

n a motorcycle which includes a vehicle body frame having a main frame extending downwardly rearwards from a head pipe, and a left-right pair of rear frames connected to arear portion of the main frame and extending upwardly rearwards, an engine unit disposed on the lower side of the main frame and hung from the vehicle body frame, a luggege box disposed between front frame, and an upper end opening portion of the luggage box covered by an upper end opening portion of the luggage box covered by an openable seat, a luggage containing structure is disclosed to secure space for containing a battery and small articles while making it possible to set comparatively large the volume of motorcycle component parts disposed on the rear side of theluggage box. For this purpose, a main compartment (56), a battery compartment (57) disposed on the lower side of a rear portion of the main compartment (56), and a small article compartment (67) swollen to the rear side from the main compartment (56) so as to be communicated eith a rear upper portion of the main compartment (56) are formed in the luggage box (35).
