[Also in Division F4] A light fitting, especially for use with fluorescent lamps, is closed by a device including a bearing attached to a fixed part of the fitting, a holding member 32 having a stem 32a and a lateral crosspiece the ends of which have projections 31 moving in slots 34 in the bearing and a spring 35 surrounding the stem and bearing at one end on the crosspiece and at the other on a part 36 of the bearing having a slot 37 through which the stem passes, the crosspiece being formed with a rounded off and backward extending part 40 to engage beneath the edge of the cover of the fitting as shown in Fig. 1. The part 40 may be cut away to form a tip 41.
