Abstract

997, 323. Heat-developable diazotype materials. EUGENE DIETZGEN CO. Nov.15, 1962 [Dec. 1, 1961], No. 43216/62. Heading G2C. Heat-developable diazotype materials comprise a supported layer of a visibly heat-sensitive composition comprising a mixture of a coupling diazo compound, an azo coupling component, cadmium or zinc sulphate and a sufficient amount of a compound producing an alkaline reaction when heated to couple the diazo components. An acid stabiliser may also be included various organic acids, anhydrides and lactones being specified. The characterizing ingredient of the present invention is the cadmium or zinc sulphate, and the material may otherwise be as described in Specification 907,724.
