Abstract

992,918. Levels. A. H. STOKES. April 24, 1963 [May 18, 1962], No. 19281/62. Heading G1F. A folding spirit level comprises end parts 1A, 1C hingedly connected to a central part 1B the end parts having projections 3, 4 respectively which engage in recesses 2 when the level is in use and are lockable in position by pins 7, 8 slidable in bores 9,10. Alternatively or in addition the parts may be locked in position by keys 11,12 movable into slots 13, 14 in the part 1B. Spirit level glasses 15, 16 and plumb glasses 17 are carried by the parts of the level for use therewith.
